We spent Thanksgiving with Zach's family this year and it was a beautiful day! We even ate outside! Nellie is in her Thanksgiving skirt I made her. It didn't stay on long! Then there's me! I didn't get a picture of Zach and I on my phone, but his mom did, so hopefully I'll get it sometime! Then there's my nephew and I! Love those cheeks! Nellie was exhausted when we got home! She didn't take a nap the entire day, so she was worn out! The last picture is just proof that I cleared out a spot for our Christmas tree. I actually cleaned like a maniac yesterday and moved the recliner and cabinet by myself! The tree is almost finished, so Christmas decorations are up next!
For a while now, we've planned on finally finishing our family room. That's right, it's kind of been unfinished for the entire time we've lived there. It was painted and decorated, just no molding and the ceiling was hideous because we (and by we, I mean Zach) took down the drop ceiling the previous owners had put up. So, anyway, I looked at curtains and didn't really find anything I liked, so I decided I was going to make my own. Zach and I looked at Jo-Ann's a couple times and each time we looked I liked this fabric more and more. It was the most expensive fabric I've ever bought, but in the end, it was sooooo worth it!
