Our First Anniversary

For now I am just publishing all of these pictures without headings. They are all out of order, but after we get back from vacation hopefully I can straighten it all out! Enjoy!

One Year Later...

... and we've learned so much. We have.... learned that you have to compromise, especially when one person wants the covers tucked in and the other doesn't. learned that the "D-word" in our house is dishes! also learned that dishes are something that are best shared... with the other person trying their hardest to find an excuse not to do them. learned that the ceiling fan can be turned on and off multiple times during the night, but the true victor is the one that steals the covers when they are cold because they are too tired to get up and turn off the ceiling fan. learned to lean on God to help us strengthen our marital bond. There are so many times that he has answered our prayers. It is evident in our daily lives of the love he has for the both of us, and we try so very hard to share this love with others, but I know we are definitely still in the process of learning how to accomplish that. learned that coupons don't mean you're poor, they mean you are

Ten on Thursday

1. Last Friday we took the summer camp kids to Hartke Pool in Evansville. It was supposed to rain, but thank goodness it held off until just after we left the pool. Thank goodness for that, because we had already had a field trip cancelled due to rain! 2. On Saturday we had a yard sale with Ryan and Kayleigh. It was without Zach though, because he had to work. It was pouring that morning and all our customers were well over 60. They also said we were one of the only yard sales that was open. We kept it going until about 10:00 when the rain was blowing side ways. We then went to Shyler's for lunch. Then Kayleigh and I abandoned Ryan to build up our underwear collection at VS. We had way too much fun! 3. When Zach got home from work, I am pretty sure we watched a movie! (I think, Saturday went by in a flash!!) 4. On Sunday I went down to my Dad's parents' (Mama Grace and Granddaddy) for Father's Day. It's a long day to drive 5 hours, but it is always w

Ten on Thursday

Hmm, who's a slacker? I am! Since we've established that over the last few weeks, we'll just lay that to rest and I'll have you remember that every Thursday so you don't have to wonder why Nathana hasn't posted yet! Sound peachy? So this past week 1. On Friday, summer camp went to New Generation Dairy Farm and let me to tell you, I even learned new things about cows! The kids loved it and enjoyed petting a baby calf most of all. I have to say it brought back so many memories of all of our cows at Papa and Mama Joyce's. It also made me miss all of them, which led to me asking Zach if we could get some cows when I got home! : ) I even scored a "We'll see." That's not a no!! 2. Then our weekend rolled around. Zach worked both Saturday and Sunday, so therefore, I spent those days at Mama Joyce's in the pool. I figure I may as well build up a nice tan before we go to Florida. 3. Speaking of, we will be IN Florida a month from

10 months!

Happy 10 month birthday to our Nellie girl! She has been a little difficult lately, but things are getting better! She is still our sweet girl whose face lights up when she sees one of us come into the room. She loves her pork chomps and will do just about anything for them. She is still chewing up her bed and it won't be long before this one bites the dust! We are hoping that one day (hopefully after her first or second birthday) she will stop chewing so much! I can't believe she will be 1 in two months! We love you, Nellie Girl!

Ten on a Friday

1. Last Friday I hung out at Zach's parents' house since we STILL did not have power! 2. Also on Friday, we were supposed to leave for my cousin, Wesley's wedding. However, Zach did not get home from work until 12:30 on Saturday morning. Luckily I had packed absolutely everything we needed to travel and already had the car ready. We left our house at 12:45 in the morning and drove all night to get to Mississippi! As soon as we got there we are breakfast and collapsed into bed to take a nap before the wedding. The wedding was beautiful and their reception was lovely. We are so glad we made it! Congratulations, Wesley and Lara Tew! (Pics are with my iPod Touch, so not the greatest quality, but I thought they were pretty good pics of us!) 3. Since Zach's parents kept Nellie, we went straight there to pick her up! It was so sweet when we saw her. She could not contain her excitement and she kept rolling over for us to pet her and rubbing up against our hands and legs.
