This time of the year is always busy, but this year I think we can go ahead and stick it under a category marked "crazy!" I feel like we haven't been home for over 2 weeks with no end in sight! Not that it's a bad thing, I just feel like we need to slow it down and remember the birth of our Lord and Savior. I am more and more thankful for Him each and every day. After the events last Friday (which I read about during the school day on my lunch) I was left heartbroken and crying out to God for those sweet babies, their teachers, and their parents. I was quite literally in shock of it all. This week at school I am watching fiercely over my kids, hugging them tighter, and making sure they know they are safe. I am so glad that even though I don't know the future, I know the one who holds my future.
How Far along: 41 weeks. Baby's size: Size of a jack fruit! Around 7.5 lbs. (I think he's going to be about 8 lbs and Zach's official guess is 9 lbs. 2 oz. I hope he's wrong!) Weight loss/gain: 30 lbs. (So glad the weight gain is slowing down!) Sleep: I told Zach I no longer am even trying to keep track of how much I am getting up to go to the bathroom. Gender: B-O-Y Movement: He has been back to his super active little self this week. Best Moment of this week: Getting to spend time at home together now that we're finished with the old house. Also, the 3 day weekend! We didn't sleep in, much, but we figure that's all about to end anyway! Looking Forward: Getting to meet our baby boy. I think it will be a little weird, because I truly don't feel like I'm finished being pregnant yet. But, alas, we pretty much have to follow Dr.'s orders. Food cravings: Still pineapple! ...
