4 years

For our 4th anniversary we went to Little Italy to celebrate. We didn't exchange gifts because we both agreed that our Nellie girl alive and well was the best gift we could have! 

This past year has been one that I have mixed feelings about. There are honestly many times that I would give anything to forget, but thankfully the good outweighed the bad.  Still, I am so glad to see this year over and start a new one.  

I've run into people I went to school with who find out I'm married and seem so surprised it's been 4 years, and sometimes it even surprised me it's been that long. Sometimes it feels like much longer. ; )  It's even a little hard to remember what life was like before we were married. I know that I love us, though.  God has been faithful to us these 4 years and I know will contribute to bless us.  I say it every year, but I love Zach more now than I ever have! 
Thank you sweetheart for loving me when I am unlovable, cranky, and stubborn. You complete me!  I can't wait to see what God has in store for us this year!

Family room re-do featuring.... my curtains! : )

For a while now, we've planned on finally finishing our family room.  That's right, it's kind of been unfinished for the entire time we've lived there.  It was painted and decorated, just no molding and the ceiling was hideous because we (and by we, I mean Zach) took down the drop ceiling the previous owners had put up.  So, anyway, I looked at curtains and didn't really find anything I liked, so I decided I was going to make my own.  Zach and I looked at Jo-Ann's a couple times and each time we looked I liked this fabric more and more.  It was the most expensive fabric I've ever bought, but in the end, it was sooooo worth it! Turns out...

Third grade is not bad at all! The kids are still pretty sweet and are so excited for me to be there and I am excited too! I think it will be fun to see all that they can do and have fun with them. Yesterday I received 5 notes on my desk about how excited that I was there and about how much fun we were going to have. I think they are right! Hopefully I get the hang of them quickly, because I start teaching Science (Mon and Wed), Social Studies(Tues and Thur), and PE (Fri) next week!

What I'm Thankful For...

Hey y'all. It's just Nathana in this post. I figured since I've been alive 20 years, that equals 20 Thanksgivings, so I'm gonna have the 20 things I'm most Thankful for. Here goes nothing! : ) 1. The first thing of course I am thankful for is my salvation through Jesus Christ! Without him I have no hope to be anything! 2. My mom and dad, and the home they raised me in. I could not imagine any parents better than mine, and I'm proud to be their daughter. I'm also thankful they didn't give me away to a farm when I was difficult! 3. My brother and sister.
