Bumpdate: Week 18

How Far along: 18 weeks

Baby's size: A sweet potato

Weight loss/gain: Still down 5 lbs.

Sleep: Nightly bathroom visits between 2-4 am.  It's so frustrating because I have not done well getting back to sleep after that, and it is making me really tired!

Gender: TBA in May. Zach really wants to find out, so we have discussed what we're going to do!

Movement: I have felt a couple things that I think may be baby, but I really don't know.

Best Moment of this week: Knowing Christmas break is coming!

Looking Forward: to Christmas break and Christmas!  Seeing Shim on the big screen and how much they have changed.

Food cravings: I wanted a pudding pop, but Target isn't selling them.  I also wanted custard! And I got some!

Weirdest Food I ate last week: Not a thing.  I'm just trying to eat.

Anything making you feel sick or queasy: Nope, and I am very happy about this!

Symptoms:  My lower back will hurt from time to time, especially after a long day of standing at school.  Other than that I can't complain! : )

Workouts: Non-existent.  I am so not proud of this.

What I miss: Not much this week!

Things that stink: Nothing much.  Pretty excited for Christmas!

Things that don't stink: Zach starts his new job next week and is now a college graduate!  So very very proud of him and us.  It's been an adventure, but I wouldn't change the last 4.5 years for anything!

Mama's Thoughts: I am excited for Shim to have their first in-utero Christmas.  I'm pretty sure that they might get a present or two.  I'm so glad to be feeling better and wondering when I will actually "need"maternity clothes, because I haven't thus far.

Daddy's Thoughts: Zach keeps telling Shim to really move and kick so he can feel it.  He still likes to lay and talk to Shim, which is the sweetest thing ever!

Family room re-do featuring.... my curtains! : )

For a while now, we've planned on finally finishing our family room.  That's right, it's kind of been unfinished for the entire time we've lived there.  It was painted and decorated, just no molding and the ceiling was hideous because we (and by we, I mean Zach) took down the drop ceiling the previous owners had put up.  So, anyway, I looked at curtains and didn't really find anything I liked, so I decided I was going to make my own.  Zach and I looked at Jo-Ann's a couple times and each time we looked I liked this fabric more and more.  It was the most expensive fabric I've ever bought, but in the end, it was sooooo worth it! (*Note- I bought the fabric in January before NSM! : )) Here we are at Mama Joyce's one day after church cutting the panels.  I think we were all nervous to cut it.  It was too costly to mess up! Fast forward a couple weeks because I didn't have time, was lazy, and also scared to sew on it, and I finally just delved in an...

Turns out...

Third grade is not bad at all! The kids are still pretty sweet and are so excited for me to be there and I am excited too! I think it will be fun to see all that they can do and have fun with them. Yesterday I received 5 notes on my desk about how excited that I was there and about how much fun we were going to have. I think they are right! Hopefully I get the hang of them quickly, because I start teaching Science (Mon and Wed), Social Studies(Tues and Thur), and PE (Fri) next week!

What I'm Thankful For...

Hey y'all. It's just Nathana in this post. I figured since I've been alive 20 years, that equals 20 Thanksgivings, so I'm gonna have the 20 things I'm most Thankful for. Here goes nothing! : ) 1. The first thing of course I am thankful for is my salvation through Jesus Christ! Without him I have no hope to be anything! 2. My mom and dad, and the home they raised me in. I could not imagine any parents better than mine, and I'm proud to be their daughter. I'm also thankful they didn't give me away to a farm when I was difficult! 3. My brother and sister. No one else knows all of the trouble we've been in and fun we've had over the years and even though we don't always see eye to eye, I wouldn't trade them for any other siblings. 4. Zachary Scheller. God has blessed me with an even better future husband than I could have ever asked for. My love and respect for him grows each day, and I will be so thankful this June when I can ca...
