Welcome Spring!

It's spring once again, and of course that means a little sunshine... and a LOT of rain!! It rained here all day yesterday and today. Let's pray for some sunshine and warm weather soon!
Zach has been working a lot at Toyota and Nathana is still just 11-12 hours a week at the daycare. We do have some exciting news though! We have applied for a loan and are going soon to look at houses on the North side of Evansville! We are both very excited and anxious to hear from the bank, but we got Zach's credit score back and it was really good, so I'm praying that's a good sign! We want to be closer to Toyota so that Zach will not have to get up as early to get to work. Also, we are trying to find something that we can hopefully have started in time for the first time home buyer's credit!
On the wedding front, Nathana confirmed the photographer for the wedding today, last saturday we bought invitations (we have to print them still), and registered at Wal-Mart and JC Penney! And I don't remember if I said this before, but we have also picked out tuxes and all of the guys are going to get fitted soon! The ladies of the church also have asked us when we want to have a shower! I can't wait of course and Zach is praying he will have to work that day so he can get out of it! : )
School is going, and that's about it! My grades are good, but I just can't stand this semester! On a positive note, there are only 45 days left until it's over! So I have that to look forward to! Then for me summer school will start up on the 18th and go until June 11th. I am taking 2 classes, but each is only 2 weeks from 8:00 am-3:00 pm! May be a little stressful at the time, but I know it will be worth it in the long run! I will also have an online class later on in the summer, but I don't expect it to be bad at all!
I think that is everything that's going on right now! Hopefully ya'll are having a happy spring so far.

Family room re-do featuring.... my curtains! : )

For a while now, we've planned on finally finishing our family room.  That's right, it's kind of been unfinished for the entire time we've lived there.  It was painted and decorated, just no molding and the ceiling was hideous because we (and by we, I mean Zach) took down the drop ceiling the previous owners had put up.  So, anyway, I looked at curtains and didn't really find anything I liked, so I decided I was going to make my own.  Zach and I looked at Jo-Ann's a couple times and each time we looked I liked this fabric more and more.  It was the most expensive fabric I've ever bought, but in the end, it was sooooo worth it! (*Note- I bought the fabric in January before NSM! : )) Here we are at Mama Joyce's one day after church cutting the panels.  I think we were all nervous to cut it.  It was too costly to mess up! Fast forward a couple weeks because I didn't have time, was lazy, and also scared to sew on it, and I finally just delved in an...

Turns out...

Third grade is not bad at all! The kids are still pretty sweet and are so excited for me to be there and I am excited too! I think it will be fun to see all that they can do and have fun with them. Yesterday I received 5 notes on my desk about how excited that I was there and about how much fun we were going to have. I think they are right! Hopefully I get the hang of them quickly, because I start teaching Science (Mon and Wed), Social Studies(Tues and Thur), and PE (Fri) next week!

What I'm Thankful For...

Hey y'all. It's just Nathana in this post. I figured since I've been alive 20 years, that equals 20 Thanksgivings, so I'm gonna have the 20 things I'm most Thankful for. Here goes nothing! : ) 1. The first thing of course I am thankful for is my salvation through Jesus Christ! Without him I have no hope to be anything! 2. My mom and dad, and the home they raised me in. I could not imagine any parents better than mine, and I'm proud to be their daughter. I'm also thankful they didn't give me away to a farm when I was difficult! 3. My brother and sister. No one else knows all of the trouble we've been in and fun we've had over the years and even though we don't always see eye to eye, I wouldn't trade them for any other siblings. 4. Zachary Scheller. God has blessed me with an even better future husband than I could have ever asked for. My love and respect for him grows each day, and I will be so thankful this June when I can ca...
