Weekly Wrap Up

This post is out of order because of the way the pictures uploaded, but I'm at the point of not caring, so long as I get it posted!
1. On Feb. 12 we met Zach's family at Cheeseburger in Paradise. His parents just got back from a vacation to Mexico and had a blast. They were also tan, which made me really want a break!
Thursday (2-16-12)
Please, please note that I beat Zach in bowling. Also, that is my highest score I have ever bowled! I don't think either one of us could believe I beat him. Ha!
This was the first game we bowled. Zach definitely won that one!
My hubby in action.
He was trying to take my picture and catch me off guard, but I guess I can pull myself together pretty quickly!! : )

On Valentine's Day (Tuesday 2-14-12)
We went to Texas Roadhouse for supper and decided to get there as early as possible. We got there at 4:15 and got straight in and got our delicious supper. Can't beat that!
Zach was so sweet and sent me flowers at school. I was so surprised and everybody was saying how beautiful they were. I've never even had flowers sent to me before! I have the sweetest husband in the world! : )

Family room re-do featuring.... my curtains! : )

For a while now, we've planned on finally finishing our family room.  That's right, it's kind of been unfinished for the entire time we've lived there.  It was painted and decorated, just no molding and the ceiling was hideous because we (and by we, I mean Zach) took down the drop ceiling the previous owners had put up.  So, anyway, I looked at curtains and didn't really find anything I liked, so I decided I was going to make my own.  Zach and I looked at Jo-Ann's a couple times and each time we looked I liked this fabric more and more.  It was the most expensive fabric I've ever bought, but in the end, it was sooooo worth it! (*Note- I bought the fabric in January before NSM! : )) Here we are at Mama Joyce's one day after church cutting the panels.  I think we were all nervous to cut it.  It was too costly to mess up! Fast forward a couple weeks because I didn't have time, was lazy, and also scared to sew on it, and I finally just delved in an...

Turns out...

Third grade is not bad at all! The kids are still pretty sweet and are so excited for me to be there and I am excited too! I think it will be fun to see all that they can do and have fun with them. Yesterday I received 5 notes on my desk about how excited that I was there and about how much fun we were going to have. I think they are right! Hopefully I get the hang of them quickly, because I start teaching Science (Mon and Wed), Social Studies(Tues and Thur), and PE (Fri) next week!

What I'm Thankful For...

Hey y'all. It's just Nathana in this post. I figured since I've been alive 20 years, that equals 20 Thanksgivings, so I'm gonna have the 20 things I'm most Thankful for. Here goes nothing! : ) 1. The first thing of course I am thankful for is my salvation through Jesus Christ! Without him I have no hope to be anything! 2. My mom and dad, and the home they raised me in. I could not imagine any parents better than mine, and I'm proud to be their daughter. I'm also thankful they didn't give me away to a farm when I was difficult! 3. My brother and sister. No one else knows all of the trouble we've been in and fun we've had over the years and even though we don't always see eye to eye, I wouldn't trade them for any other siblings. 4. Zachary Scheller. God has blessed me with an even better future husband than I could have ever asked for. My love and respect for him grows each day, and I will be so thankful this June when I can ca...
