Spring Break wrap up! A Wonderful week...sort of.

1. About 1:00 a.m. Sunday morning I woke up and my throat was kind of tingling, but I figured it was because I had mowed at Mama Joyce's on Saturday. 2. At about 8:00 Sunday night I had a 101.8 fever, which let me know it was NOT just allergies. 3. Monday morning I already had a Dr. appt, so I had her look at my throat.  She sent to me to the hospital for a strep test and ta-da! I have strep for the 2nd time in a month and a half.  I can't say I am happy with that.  I really think strep loves me.  I would hate to have my tonsils out being this old, but I would much rather not have strep.  ever. again! 4. On to the joyous part of spring break. By Tuesday I had been on my antibiotic for almost 24 hours when Mama and I went shopping. We had lots of fun and she bought me 2 new dresses and we got some soothing Chick-fil-a ice dream for my throat. I can't remember where else we went except for the furniture store for Mama and Daddy to pick out their new m...

Weekly Wrap Up Mar 5

1. ISTEP testing started this week! I was really nervous just about giving it for the first time, maybe even more than the students that were taking it! 2. I did take Monday off so that Zach and I could spend some much needed time together. We slept in and then went to Cheddar's for lunch. Then Zach took me to the mall to let me show him some things I wanted for my birthday! 3. I can't remember anything else from this week. I'll have to look at my desk calendar at school and check what I wrote!

Weekly Wrap Up Feb. 28th

1. This was the beginning of the baby boom! We didn't know Monday that we'd be an aunt and uncle again by the end of the week, but we were! 2. Leap day led to many children at school "leaping" everywhere they went. It was quite adorable for the first part of the day. You have to love the way they are so literal. I talked to my sister-in-law and said, well, at least Isaiah won't be born on leap day! 3. March 1st, Isaiah James made his entrance into the world. He sure didn't miss leap day by much. He weighed 9 lbs 8.7 ounces and was 20 inches long. We got to see him the night after he was born and I won't ever forget it. I have never held anything that new before. He was a little over an hour old, and oh so adorable. When his Uncle Zach held him, my heart was just aflutter. It was so sweet. So without further ado, I introduce you to our precious nephew, Isaiah. 4. Friday after school I got to visit with Isaiah and Jessie again. He'd ha...

Weekly Wrap Up Feb. 20th

1. We haven't had much snow, so we got to have President's Day off. Zach also had it off so we just got to have a fun day which equals doing nothing! Wish we could have more of those. 2. The next day, Feb 21st was Mama Joyce's 82nd birthday. She got lots of goods including a puzzle from us and some new Alfred Dunner clothes. I told her we were sorry the only Thomas Kinkade we can afford her is the puzzle! She said that was okay! ; ) 3. Thursday Elizabeth and I went to Rafferty's for supper. I had never tried their salad, but it was delicious. I'm just hoping all the meat and cheese on it didn't disqualify it from being healthy! Hehe. 4. Zach had Saturday off, so we went to JoAnn's, Hobby Lobby, and Gander Mtn. I got lots of new fabrics for skirts. Mama Joyce told me to watch out, that buying fabric gets addictive, and I told her I'd already found that out! : ) I just love all the colors in the store and want them allllll! 5. Saturday after...
