Bumpdate: Week 30

And I spaced.   Birthing class was during week 31, so yeah, ignore that!  Oops!

Ya'll get two different outfits since I dressed up for our Family Foundations class! Lucky people! ; )

How Far along: 30 weeks

Baby's size: An English Cucumber or a Butternut squash- Probably about 4 lbs!!! Wow!

Weight loss/gain: Up 10 lbs total, and really hoping to slow that down.  It's coming out of nowhere it seems!

Sleep: Still getting up at least once a night, every now and then it is twice.  I sleep awesomely until about 2 am, then toss and turn after going to the bathroom. I have done a little better about getting back to sleep until about 5:50 when Zach's first alarm goes off.

Gender: B-O-Y

Movement: We can see him moving my belly all around when we lay down at night and it is so fun to watch!

Best Moment of this week: Zach laying his head on my belly and feeling BBS kicking/moving against his face.  Zach was also talking to him and I think BBS really likes to hear Daddy's voice! The sweetest thing ever!

Looking Forward:closing on our house! (doubting this will ever happen with all the crap we've had!)

Food cravings: Still pineapple!

Weirdest Food I ate last week: Nothing

Anything making you feel sick or queasy: Nope!

Symptoms: A big belly!  Some newer, redder stretch marks.  One literally appeared between the time I got dressed and lunchtime on Monday.  It's just a little alarming to pull the belly panel down and see a blood red streak when you're not expecting it!

Dr. Appt:  1 week and 4 days until the next appt.  Pretty sure after that I'll start having them every two weeks, and then every week. Crazy!

Workouts: Administering ISTEP!  I had to circulate around the room for the entire 1.5 hours and my back hurt so badly after it!

What I miss: Not much!

Things that stink: Getting up in the dark.  The funny thing is that Nellie hates springing an hour ahead too!  She has acted very groggy and confused when we get up this week!

More stretch marks!

Things that don't stink: 6 school days until Spring Break!  10 Weeks (give or take) until we have a BABY! Wow!

Mama's Thoughts: We are going to be in single week digits after today!!  I just can't believe we are that close to having a baby!

Daddy's Thoughts: I always hate that Zach will say something cute related to BBS and then I forget by the time I get here to type it.  He talks to BBS though, and that of course is adorable.  I can tell they're already scheming against me! ; )

Baby: He's really making himself seen from the outside of my belly!  We love watching him just move around.  So amazing!

Family room re-do featuring.... my curtains! : )

For a while now, we've planned on finally finishing our family room.  That's right, it's kind of been unfinished for the entire time we've lived there.  It was painted and decorated, just no molding and the ceiling was hideous because we (and by we, I mean Zach) took down the drop ceiling the previous owners had put up.  So, anyway, I looked at curtains and didn't really find anything I liked, so I decided I was going to make my own.  Zach and I looked at Jo-Ann's a couple times and each time we looked I liked this fabric more and more.  It was the most expensive fabric I've ever bought, but in the end, it was sooooo worth it! (*Note- I bought the fabric in January before NSM! : )) Here we are at Mama Joyce's one day after church cutting the panels.  I think we were all nervous to cut it.  It was too costly to mess up! Fast forward a couple weeks because I didn't have time, was lazy, and also scared to sew on it, and I finally just delved in an...

Turns out...

Third grade is not bad at all! The kids are still pretty sweet and are so excited for me to be there and I am excited too! I think it will be fun to see all that they can do and have fun with them. Yesterday I received 5 notes on my desk about how excited that I was there and about how much fun we were going to have. I think they are right! Hopefully I get the hang of them quickly, because I start teaching Science (Mon and Wed), Social Studies(Tues and Thur), and PE (Fri) next week!

What I'm Thankful For...

Hey y'all. It's just Nathana in this post. I figured since I've been alive 20 years, that equals 20 Thanksgivings, so I'm gonna have the 20 things I'm most Thankful for. Here goes nothing! : ) 1. The first thing of course I am thankful for is my salvation through Jesus Christ! Without him I have no hope to be anything! 2. My mom and dad, and the home they raised me in. I could not imagine any parents better than mine, and I'm proud to be their daughter. I'm also thankful they didn't give me away to a farm when I was difficult! 3. My brother and sister. No one else knows all of the trouble we've been in and fun we've had over the years and even though we don't always see eye to eye, I wouldn't trade them for any other siblings. 4. Zachary Scheller. God has blessed me with an even better future husband than I could have ever asked for. My love and respect for him grows each day, and I will be so thankful this June when I can ca...
