Bumpdate: Week 28

No chalkboard... no good excuse! Sorry!

Bad angle! I promise I'm not that tubby!

How Far along: 28 weeks

Baby's size: Eggplant!

Weight loss/gain: up 7 lbs total!  Yikes, those two lbs came out of nowhere! I'm going to blame it on the snow days and having nothing better to do than eat!

Sleep: Still getting up at least once a night, every now and then it is twice.  I sleep awesomely until about 2 am, then toss and turn after going to the bathroom.  I. do. not. like!  BBS, hear me now, Mama likes sleep!!!

Gender: B-O-Y

Movement:  Moving around a lot!  We both saw him moving from the outside on Sunday morning.  We had to be looking at my bare stomach to see it, and Zach got a good video.  Sadly, (or not so much), I will NOT be sharing that!  No one should have to see my bare, pale belly except for Zach and Dr. B!

Best Moment of this week: Finding out I passed my glucose test and my urine was all clear from protein!  Feels like two major hurdles jumped!
Spending Sunday morning snuggling and watching/feeling BBS move!  We were sad church was canceled, and it was so weird not to be at church, but it was nice to relax together!  I even made muffins for breakfast!

Looking Forward: The weekend!  Thankfully the 5 hrs and 45 minutes that I worked this week went by fast, and now I'm ready to get some things accomplished at home.  I also want to start searching for bedroom suites!

Food cravings: No cravings really.  It is getting harder to eat a full meal.  I can see where more small meals are a better idea, but that's kind of unrealistic to fit into my work schedule!

Weirdest Food I ate last week: Nothing

Anything making you feel sick or queasy: Nope! Thank goodness! : )

Symptoms: A bigger bump that is undeniable!  I think it is so funny how the kids at school are reacting to it getting bigger!

Dr. Appt:  My next appt. is not until my spring break, and I'll be 31 weeks, 4 days!  It's crazy that it will be that long until the next one, and that I'll be past 30 weeks!

Workouts: Does work count as a workout? I stand and walk around for 8 hours!  If it's not, it's starting to feel like one!

What I miss: Nothing much.

Things that stink: It is really hard to get up in the morning, especially since I got to sleep in so many days in a row!

Things that don't stink: Spring break is less than a month away!  And it may even be more Spring like weather by then!!  I can officially start my countdown!

Mama's Thoughts: I feel so much bigger this week even than last!  Everybody at school is telling my how cute I look, and how I look like I "popped out" over the weekend, and I told them I agreed.  It is so nice to have such caring and interested co-workers!  They make me feel special!

Daddy's Thoughts: I asked Zach what color he hopes BBS's hair is, and he said he didn't care, but thought maybe he'd be blonde!  I hope so, too!

Baby: Really testing his limits in there, as evidenced by my stomach popping out and being able to see his moves!  Pretty neat!

Family room re-do featuring.... my curtains! : )

For a while now, we've planned on finally finishing our family room.  That's right, it's kind of been unfinished for the entire time we've lived there.  It was painted and decorated, just no molding and the ceiling was hideous because we (and by we, I mean Zach) took down the drop ceiling the previous owners had put up.  So, anyway, I looked at curtains and didn't really find anything I liked, so I decided I was going to make my own.  Zach and I looked at Jo-Ann's a couple times and each time we looked I liked this fabric more and more.  It was the most expensive fabric I've ever bought, but in the end, it was sooooo worth it! (*Note- I bought the fabric in January before NSM! : )) Here we are at Mama Joyce's one day after church cutting the panels.  I think we were all nervous to cut it.  It was too costly to mess up! Fast forward a couple weeks because I didn't have time, was lazy, and also scared to sew on it, and I finally just delved in an...

Turns out...

Third grade is not bad at all! The kids are still pretty sweet and are so excited for me to be there and I am excited too! I think it will be fun to see all that they can do and have fun with them. Yesterday I received 5 notes on my desk about how excited that I was there and about how much fun we were going to have. I think they are right! Hopefully I get the hang of them quickly, because I start teaching Science (Mon and Wed), Social Studies(Tues and Thur), and PE (Fri) next week!

What I'm Thankful For...

Hey y'all. It's just Nathana in this post. I figured since I've been alive 20 years, that equals 20 Thanksgivings, so I'm gonna have the 20 things I'm most Thankful for. Here goes nothing! : ) 1. The first thing of course I am thankful for is my salvation through Jesus Christ! Without him I have no hope to be anything! 2. My mom and dad, and the home they raised me in. I could not imagine any parents better than mine, and I'm proud to be their daughter. I'm also thankful they didn't give me away to a farm when I was difficult! 3. My brother and sister. No one else knows all of the trouble we've been in and fun we've had over the years and even though we don't always see eye to eye, I wouldn't trade them for any other siblings. 4. Zachary Scheller. God has blessed me with an even better future husband than I could have ever asked for. My love and respect for him grows each day, and I will be so thankful this June when I can ca...
