Bumpdate: 40 weeks!

How Far along: 40 weeks.  We made it the whole time!

Baby's size: Size of a jack fruit!  Around 7.5 lbs. I have never heard of a jack fruit.

Weight loss/gain: 28 lbs. (So glad the weight gain is slowing down!) Thankfully everybody who sees me tells me I am so lucky that I have gained it all in my belly.   I think I have to agree that's where it all is.  Sadly, that is the exact spot I always have trouble losing it! (<-- again="" br="" ditto="" this="" to="" week="">

Sleep: I told Zach I no longer am even trying to keep track of how much I am getting up to go to the bathroom.

Gender: B-O-Y

Movement: I think he has slowed down a lot this week, but he is still moving plenty when doing "kick counts."

Best Moment of this week: Resting at home and getting as "ready" as we can for BBS.  Making it to 40 weeks and feeling like I have completed this pregnancy to the best of my ability! Zach's birthday and finishing our old house so the renters can move in.  Even if we got home Friday morning at 12:35 a.m.!  Poor Zach was exhausted at work the next day!  Our friends, Jacob and Jenna, had their baby girl on our due date!  She was due June 1st, but apparently couldn't wait any longer!! We can't wait to meet her once baby boy gets here!

Looking Forward: Meeting our son and seeing Zach with him.  Hopefully having this baby on his own!  I am not sure it's going to happen, though!

Food cravings: Still pineapple!  So yummy!  Especially when it's refrigerated!

Anything making you feel sick or queasy: Nope!

Symptoms: My beautiful little sausage toes and feet/cankles.  Waddling!

Dr. Appt: I was fully a 3 dilated, and 70% effaced still.

Workouts: We've been walking our driveways in the evening... hoping to kick start things!

What I miss: Nothing  much!

Things that stink:  BBS not showing signs of being motivated to come out at all.

Things that don't stink: We still have some time to get ready for BBS!  Also, getting to sleep a little later than normal.  Also, getting to take naps when I feel like it! (ALL still true this week!)

Labor signs?:Nope.  Again, we really don't feel like we're moving in the right direction here, which is so disheartening because I don't want to be induced.  We're going to give it our best shot, though!

Mama's Thoughts: I am definitely right!  Baby is going to be late, just as I suspected all along.  I also  am getting a whole lot more nervous about how things will be once he's here.  I know we'll adjust and it will be "the best thing ever," but for right now I just am waiting to see what he's like! : )

Daddy's Thoughts: Zach is so ready for BBS to be here.  He told BBS that he is allowed to come now that the rental house is finished!

Baby: He is happy hanging out!  Clearly! ; )  He doesn't want to come out yet!

Family room re-do featuring.... my curtains! : )

For a while now, we've planned on finally finishing our family room.  That's right, it's kind of been unfinished for the entire time we've lived there.  It was painted and decorated, just no molding and the ceiling was hideous because we (and by we, I mean Zach) took down the drop ceiling the previous owners had put up.  So, anyway, I looked at curtains and didn't really find anything I liked, so I decided I was going to make my own.  Zach and I looked at Jo-Ann's a couple times and each time we looked I liked this fabric more and more.  It was the most expensive fabric I've ever bought, but in the end, it was sooooo worth it! (*Note- I bought the fabric in January before NSM! : )) Here we are at Mama Joyce's one day after church cutting the panels.  I think we were all nervous to cut it.  It was too costly to mess up! Fast forward a couple weeks because I didn't have time, was lazy, and also scared to sew on it, and I finally just delved in an...

Turns out...

Third grade is not bad at all! The kids are still pretty sweet and are so excited for me to be there and I am excited too! I think it will be fun to see all that they can do and have fun with them. Yesterday I received 5 notes on my desk about how excited that I was there and about how much fun we were going to have. I think they are right! Hopefully I get the hang of them quickly, because I start teaching Science (Mon and Wed), Social Studies(Tues and Thur), and PE (Fri) next week!

What I'm Thankful For...

Hey y'all. It's just Nathana in this post. I figured since I've been alive 20 years, that equals 20 Thanksgivings, so I'm gonna have the 20 things I'm most Thankful for. Here goes nothing! : ) 1. The first thing of course I am thankful for is my salvation through Jesus Christ! Without him I have no hope to be anything! 2. My mom and dad, and the home they raised me in. I could not imagine any parents better than mine, and I'm proud to be their daughter. I'm also thankful they didn't give me away to a farm when I was difficult! 3. My brother and sister. No one else knows all of the trouble we've been in and fun we've had over the years and even though we don't always see eye to eye, I wouldn't trade them for any other siblings. 4. Zachary Scheller. God has blessed me with an even better future husband than I could have ever asked for. My love and respect for him grows each day, and I will be so thankful this June when I can ca...
