Bumpdate: Week 38

How Far along: 38 weeks

Baby's size: a pumpkin ~7 lbs or so

Weight loss/gain: 27 lbs : (

Sleep: 3-4 times a night, but I had two extremes this last week as one night I only got up once (which was amazing) and one night where I got up 6-7! That was not as fun! But I am sleeping pretty well!

Gender: B-O-Y

Movement: He is pretty much out of room, but he still is moving a lot! He just feels so big! We never get tired of feeling of him, though!

Best Moment of this week: It's my last week of school! My poor cankles and feet can't take it anymore, so I will be bidding my students adieu tomorrow!!!

Looking Forward: next dr. appt to see if there had been any more progress. Now that I am finished with work, I am fine with him coming anytime!

Food cravings: still good old pineapple! And I would really like some Cheesecake Factory cheesecake, but apparently I'm not allowed to drive to Louisville to get some! 😑

Anything making you feel sick or queasy: Nope!

Symptoms: cankles and swollen feet.

Dr. Appt: I was still 2 cm dilated Monday, but am now 70% effaced! Progress is progress! Just a waiting game!

Workouts:  Ha. Ha. Ha. Walking around school all day doing my job.  House work at home.

What I miss: I truly mean it when I say nothing. This pregnancy has been a dream come true and an answer to our prayers. God is blessing us so much!

Things that stink: nothing much! If anything, I don't like the idea of not knowing when I'll go into labor, just because I don't particularly like surprises! But, I'd much rather go into labor than have to be induced, so that is our prayer!

Things that don't stink:  having a baby shower at school tomorrow and then my last shower with Zach's side of the family on Saturday! So excited! Also, the fact that we will probably be heading to the hospital in the near future! (As in the next couple weeks... Not today or anything!)

Labor signs?: some cramping, but other than that, not a ton. I do know his head is indeed low, as I can feel it sometimes when I'm walking! Zach says my waddle is cute! ; )

Mama's Thoughts: I think I finally feel "ready" or more than I did now that work is over. I'm ready to see BBS being held by his daddy! I'm pretty sure my heart may explode from the love I'll feel!

Daddy's Thoughts: He is ready for BBS to be here. He has been for a while I think, but he also wants BBS to wait until we get everything done with the old house first. Guess we'll see!!!

Baby: He has no idea how many people are waiting out here to love him! He also has no idea how much stuff he already has!!! ; )

Family room re-do featuring.... my curtains! : )

For a while now, we've planned on finally finishing our family room.  That's right, it's kind of been unfinished for the entire time we've lived there.  It was painted and decorated, just no molding and the ceiling was hideous because we (and by we, I mean Zach) took down the drop ceiling the previous owners had put up.  So, anyway, I looked at curtains and didn't really find anything I liked, so I decided I was going to make my own.  Zach and I looked at Jo-Ann's a couple times and each time we looked I liked this fabric more and more.  It was the most expensive fabric I've ever bought, but in the end, it was sooooo worth it! (*Note- I bought the fabric in January before NSM! : )) Here we are at Mama Joyce's one day after church cutting the panels.  I think we were all nervous to cut it.  It was too costly to mess up! Fast forward a couple weeks because I didn't have time, was lazy, and also scared to sew on it, and I finally just delved in an...

Turns out...

Third grade is not bad at all! The kids are still pretty sweet and are so excited for me to be there and I am excited too! I think it will be fun to see all that they can do and have fun with them. Yesterday I received 5 notes on my desk about how excited that I was there and about how much fun we were going to have. I think they are right! Hopefully I get the hang of them quickly, because I start teaching Science (Mon and Wed), Social Studies(Tues and Thur), and PE (Fri) next week!

What I'm Thankful For...

Hey y'all. It's just Nathana in this post. I figured since I've been alive 20 years, that equals 20 Thanksgivings, so I'm gonna have the 20 things I'm most Thankful for. Here goes nothing! : ) 1. The first thing of course I am thankful for is my salvation through Jesus Christ! Without him I have no hope to be anything! 2. My mom and dad, and the home they raised me in. I could not imagine any parents better than mine, and I'm proud to be their daughter. I'm also thankful they didn't give me away to a farm when I was difficult! 3. My brother and sister. No one else knows all of the trouble we've been in and fun we've had over the years and even though we don't always see eye to eye, I wouldn't trade them for any other siblings. 4. Zachary Scheller. God has blessed me with an even better future husband than I could have ever asked for. My love and respect for him grows each day, and I will be so thankful this June when I can ca...
