Bumpdate: Week 36

How Far along: 36 weeks

Baby's size:A honeydew- Around 6 or so lbs!

Weight loss/gain: 23 lbs.

Sleep: 2, 3, or even 4 trips a night!

Gender: B-O-Y

Movement: He is totally running out of "womb" ; ) but he is still moving as much as he can!

Best Moment of this week: My baby shower and Dr. appt.  More on that below!

Looking Forward: To my last day of work!  Not too much longer to go!

Food cravings: Nothing!

Anything making you feel sick or queasy: Nope!

Symptoms: Still swelling pretty big in the ankle and foot region.  Zach is enjoying that a lot! Haha!

Dr. Appt:  BBS is officially head down.  When the Dr. felt around on my belly, he said he thought he was head down, but would definitely be able to tell when he did my cervical check... That confirmed he was!  I told Dr. B and the Nurse we all needed to say, "Amen!"  I was also 1.5 cm dilated and 30% effaced.  Baby's heartbeat was right at 140 yet again, and my blood pressure was good.  Now I'll be going weekly from here on out!

Workouts:  Ha. Ha. Ha. Walking around school all day doing my job.  House work at home.

What I miss: Not much, but I do like being able to see my ankle bones!

Things that stink:Cankles

Things that don't stink: The fact that I am still pregnant, baby boy is HEAD DOWN, and I have a wonderful little family to spend my weekend with!

Labor signs?: Nope

Mama's Thoughts:I am praising the Lord that BBS is head down.  An answered prayer, because now we know that we can hopefully have a natural birth.  Still praying for that!

Daddy's Thoughts: He, too, was excited to hear BBS is head down!

Baby: He may not be happy about his cramped quarters, but he is having fun moving around to let Mama and Daddy feel him!

Family room re-do featuring.... my curtains! : )

For a while now, we've planned on finally finishing our family room.  That's right, it's kind of been unfinished for the entire time we've lived there.  It was painted and decorated, just no molding and the ceiling was hideous because we (and by we, I mean Zach) took down the drop ceiling the previous owners had put up.  So, anyway, I looked at curtains and didn't really find anything I liked, so I decided I was going to make my own.  Zach and I looked at Jo-Ann's a couple times and each time we looked I liked this fabric more and more.  It was the most expensive fabric I've ever bought, but in the end, it was sooooo worth it! (*Note- I bought the fabric in January before NSM! : )) Here we are at Mama Joyce's one day after church cutting the panels.  I think we were all nervous to cut it.  It was too costly to mess up! Fast forward a couple weeks because I didn't have time, was lazy, and also scared to sew on it, and I finally just delved in an...

Turns out...

Third grade is not bad at all! The kids are still pretty sweet and are so excited for me to be there and I am excited too! I think it will be fun to see all that they can do and have fun with them. Yesterday I received 5 notes on my desk about how excited that I was there and about how much fun we were going to have. I think they are right! Hopefully I get the hang of them quickly, because I start teaching Science (Mon and Wed), Social Studies(Tues and Thur), and PE (Fri) next week!

What I'm Thankful For...

Hey y'all. It's just Nathana in this post. I figured since I've been alive 20 years, that equals 20 Thanksgivings, so I'm gonna have the 20 things I'm most Thankful for. Here goes nothing! : ) 1. The first thing of course I am thankful for is my salvation through Jesus Christ! Without him I have no hope to be anything! 2. My mom and dad, and the home they raised me in. I could not imagine any parents better than mine, and I'm proud to be their daughter. I'm also thankful they didn't give me away to a farm when I was difficult! 3. My brother and sister. No one else knows all of the trouble we've been in and fun we've had over the years and even though we don't always see eye to eye, I wouldn't trade them for any other siblings. 4. Zachary Scheller. God has blessed me with an even better future husband than I could have ever asked for. My love and respect for him grows each day, and I will be so thankful this June when I can ca...
