9 months to go!

Not that anybody else is counting, but today is exactly 9 months till Zach and Nathana are husband and wife! Which seems a little crazy since the only things that we have done are: ~Most of the guest lists, simply a list and rough numbers. Not even the addresses yet! ~Booked the church for that weekend. ~Planned the catering for the rehearsal dinner. ~Bought a guest book. Random, I know, but I figure if you spend just a little over time is won't seem as bad as spending a lot in one big chunk! : ) So, even though it is still a little while a way, I am nervous because it seems like just yesterday we got engaged and that was 7 months ago! My next biggest goal is to find me a wedding dress and Zach's goal is to avoid as much wedding planning as possible! We are both really excited about getting to go register at stores and we plan to do that around January or so. For so long I have been saying I'm going to upload new pictures, but there is one minor problem. I lost the cab...

Updates on a couple things

Well, we have done really horrible at keeping up with our blog! It has been such a busy summer for the both of us it seems that our time is totally taken by work and other things. Also, it seems to us we haven't done anything exciting enough to blog about! Nathana's family did take a vacation to Florida at the beginning of July and we'll have pictures up soon. Zach didn't get to go this time, but he will have many years in the future to get to go! Nathana is working a few more hours a week at the daycare and Zach is working 5 days a week at McDonald's for the rest of the summer or until he finds another job. Also, an important decision we have made is that Zach is going to leave school and become a lineman. Well, actually Zach made the decision, but Nathana supports him in it. : ) We have both been praying about this and what was the right decision for us, and Zach feels that this is where God is leading him, so who are we to question our God? Keep us in your...

The Summer We've had so far...

Well, here we are into the middle of June, and it doesn't seem like summer at all! Zach is in his first week of the second summer session of classes, and Nathana starts her class next week! During the two week class, Nathana isn't going to be working at the daycare, and then she'll be on vacation with her family! Zach is going to start back at McDonald's on friday! He thinks it's will only be a summer job, and is hoping to get a job at Barry Plastics for during the school year! Since this new semester of school started and with us both working, we haven't gotten to see each other, but we're planning on getting together saturday morning before Zach has to work! I think I can speak for the both of us when I say we are pretty excited to see another and can't wait! : ) On another note, my friend Megan came over tonight and brought 13 wedding magazines along with her!! It was a nice surprise for me, and who knows, maybe it will inspire me to try and plan so...

This Week

Wow! We can not believe it is already June! It really doesn't feel like summer with all of the classes we are taking! Well this weekend we had a fun time looking at houses. We have in mind a fixer-upper, and the ones that we saw were definitely that! The first house was totally too much for us to even consider, and the second one was actually cute, but needed a new roof. Also, both of the houses were in a flood plane. So really, we got even more of an idea of what we are looking for and where we need to go to find it! We enjoy looking, though, so we are not discouraged that we haven't found the right place yet, especially since we still have plenty of time. We are in no rush to start house payments anyway! : ) We know that God will lead us to the place he has for us if we'll only be patient and go where he leads us!! Let's see, other than houses, we really haven't been up to much. Only 8 more school days left of this summer session, hooray!! Zach is taking cla...
Just thought we'd have a quick post for this week and hopefully more to report this weekend! Suzanne placed 13th at the State Track meet in pole vaulting! I will try to get pictures up of that soon! Also, she vaulted her personal best at a meet at 7 ft 6 in! I was really glad I got to go and watch her even with my crazy schedule! The biggest news that we have right now is that this weekend we are going to go look at our first prospect for our first house!! It is here is Evansville on the Westside and would be close to school! We are so excited to start looking, but I think I am the one most scared of being very disappointed that it will be in too bad of shape for us to handle! Anyhow, we are still excited though, and will keep y'all posted on how it goes! Have a great rest of the week, everybody! Pray we make it through the next two days! : )

Whew...

I think she liked me! She smiled whenever I would talk to her!! She is just so cute! Well, today marks the end of the second week of our summer classes!! Only three more weeks to go! At this point I'm not so much exhausted by the work of the classes, but more of having to physically be there for 4 hours every day. I guess I've gotten into the routine of having classes either on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, or Tuesday and Thursday instead of everyday. Also, my theater teacher talks until noon everyday when class is scheduled to be over at 11:50. So pray that these next three weeks will be manageable and that I have not "bitten off more than I can chew." On the other hand though, I really enjoy my 8 am class. It is technology in education and we do lots of searches using the internet, and are learning lots of things that will enhance our teaching in the future! I'm not quite sure how Zach's summer class is going. He mostly has a lot of reading it sounds...

Starting out

Alright, Zach and I are entering into the world of blogging since a few of our family members have them! Yay! It seems like it is a great way to keep in touch with everybody and let them know what we are up to as we keep on going through school and plan our life together! Zach's 20th birthday was yesterday, so we celebrated with his family on sunday by going to a "bow shoot" where they go around shooting bows at different targets and get scores. Not my kind of thing, but I like to watch him! He had lots of fun though, and he beat his dad! Our next big adventure is getting through summer school! : ( I have theater and an education class for 4 hours everyday, and he has a business class for 3 hours everyday, so it's kind of a drag. After class I work until 5:30, so the days seem incredibly long!! Zach is still working at Gander, but only a couple days a week! I think that's about all for today! We'll try to keep everybody updated on stuff!
