Ten on Thursday

1. Christmas is only 23 days away! How am I going to get everything done?

2. I also would like it to snow soon. 3-5'' if I get a preference!

3. Next week is the last week of classes before finals week! I can't believe this is the last semester that I will truly be at USI! Student teaching, here I come.

4. Nellie barked for the first time yesterday! She also lost her 4 front teeth this week! She is so cute toothless, I tried to get a picture, but of course with only 2 hands I couldn't manage!

5. I have 6 projects/assignment due by Tuesday!

6. I still don't know for sure what I really want for Christmas, which could be bad!

7. Zach won't tell me anything he wants for Christmas, so he's not making it easy to shop for him!

8. We got our tree decorated last weekend and of now, Nellie hasn't knocked off too many ornaments! Yay!

9. Our Christmas Cards are being delivered tomorrow and I can't wait to see them!

10. Tonight we got to go see Harry Potter with Megan and we had a wonderful time. I think I screamed the most out of everyone, but it was so good! I love it when they actually stick to the book! Then to top off a great evening, we ate Fazoli's! Yum!

Family room re-do featuring.... my curtains! : )

For a while now, we've planned on finally finishing our family room.  That's right, it's kind of been unfinished for the entire time we've lived there.  It was painted and decorated, just no molding and the ceiling was hideous because we (and by we, I mean Zach) took down the drop ceiling the previous owners had put up.  So, anyway, I looked at curtains and didn't really find anything I liked, so I decided I was going to make my own.  Zach and I looked at Jo-Ann's a couple times and each time we looked I liked this fabric more and more.  It was the most expensive fabric I've ever bought, but in the end, it was sooooo worth it! (*Note- I bought the fabric in January before NSM! : )) Here we are at Mama Joyce's one day after church cutting the panels.  I think we were all nervous to cut it.  It was too costly to mess up! Fast forward a couple weeks because I didn't have time, was lazy, and also scared to sew on it, and I finally just delved in an...

Turns out...

Third grade is not bad at all! The kids are still pretty sweet and are so excited for me to be there and I am excited too! I think it will be fun to see all that they can do and have fun with them. Yesterday I received 5 notes on my desk about how excited that I was there and about how much fun we were going to have. I think they are right! Hopefully I get the hang of them quickly, because I start teaching Science (Mon and Wed), Social Studies(Tues and Thur), and PE (Fri) next week!

What I'm Thankful For...

Hey y'all. It's just Nathana in this post. I figured since I've been alive 20 years, that equals 20 Thanksgivings, so I'm gonna have the 20 things I'm most Thankful for. Here goes nothing! : ) 1. The first thing of course I am thankful for is my salvation through Jesus Christ! Without him I have no hope to be anything! 2. My mom and dad, and the home they raised me in. I could not imagine any parents better than mine, and I'm proud to be their daughter. I'm also thankful they didn't give me away to a farm when I was difficult! 3. My brother and sister. No one else knows all of the trouble we've been in and fun we've had over the years and even though we don't always see eye to eye, I wouldn't trade them for any other siblings. 4. Zachary Scheller. God has blessed me with an even better future husband than I could have ever asked for. My love and respect for him grows each day, and I will be so thankful this June when I can ca...
