Weekend wrap-up (running almost into the next)

This kind of covers the past two weekends. Plus, we've now wallpapered 2 weekends in a row! I painted it though! I loooove the color!

Friday (March 7) we went to the library to rent movies and then out for supper at a new place called "Little Italy."
I ordered Carbonara!
Zach had chicken Parmesan! We both liked it a lot and will definitely be going back!
On Saturday morning, we were lazy and bummed around until time for princess Natalie's 2nd birthday celebration! Her party was Sophia the First themed and so cute!
Thrilled with my Sophia button!
The princess with her royal parents! It was so sweet, after each gift she opened, they would tell her to say thank you and she would say, "Tank you!" Such a gracious birthday girl!
We wallpapered more after Natalie's party and then Mama, Suzanne, and I went to the mall in search of a new dress for an incoming trip! We found one that I loved and thought Zach would really like! The we had Chick-Fil-a and Auntie Anne's! Yummy!

On Sunday, we celebrated our nephews' 1st and 2nd birthdays! (They're only 1 yr, 10 days apart, remember?)

I have tons more pictures from my camera, but that'll be a seperate post!

Samuel loving cake and icing!
Isaiah loving his, too!
This is totally random, but all of our meds and random tubes of things had a hard time staying in the med. cabinet. So we got these handy dandy baskets that are long and narrow for the inside and most of the stuff fits perfectly! I have since spray painted them black so they look a little more neutral! (Thought Zach might appreciate that! Ya'll know my love for all things pink! ; ))

Family room re-do featuring.... my curtains! : )

For a while now, we've planned on finally finishing our family room.  That's right, it's kind of been unfinished for the entire time we've lived there.  It was painted and decorated, just no molding and the ceiling was hideous because we (and by we, I mean Zach) took down the drop ceiling the previous owners had put up.  So, anyway, I looked at curtains and didn't really find anything I liked, so I decided I was going to make my own.  Zach and I looked at Jo-Ann's a couple times and each time we looked I liked this fabric more and more.  It was the most expensive fabric I've ever bought, but in the end, it was sooooo worth it! (*Note- I bought the fabric in January before NSM! : )) Here we are at Mama Joyce's one day after church cutting the panels.  I think we were all nervous to cut it.  It was too costly to mess up! Fast forward a couple weeks because I didn't have time, was lazy, and also scared to sew on it, and I finally just delved in an...

Turns out...

Third grade is not bad at all! The kids are still pretty sweet and are so excited for me to be there and I am excited too! I think it will be fun to see all that they can do and have fun with them. Yesterday I received 5 notes on my desk about how excited that I was there and about how much fun we were going to have. I think they are right! Hopefully I get the hang of them quickly, because I start teaching Science (Mon and Wed), Social Studies(Tues and Thur), and PE (Fri) next week!

What I'm Thankful For...

Hey y'all. It's just Nathana in this post. I figured since I've been alive 20 years, that equals 20 Thanksgivings, so I'm gonna have the 20 things I'm most Thankful for. Here goes nothing! : ) 1. The first thing of course I am thankful for is my salvation through Jesus Christ! Without him I have no hope to be anything! 2. My mom and dad, and the home they raised me in. I could not imagine any parents better than mine, and I'm proud to be their daughter. I'm also thankful they didn't give me away to a farm when I was difficult! 3. My brother and sister. No one else knows all of the trouble we've been in and fun we've had over the years and even though we don't always see eye to eye, I wouldn't trade them for any other siblings. 4. Zachary Scheller. God has blessed me with an even better future husband than I could have ever asked for. My love and respect for him grows each day, and I will be so thankful this June when I can ca...
