Valentine's Day 2015

On Valentine's day, we went to show our parents and my sister the house we're getting!   Big news just in!  It was so fun to see it again, and to kind of start plan what is going to go where.
My little sweet Valentine.  Forever my baby girl!!
For supper, we went to Angelo's.  It's an Italian restaurant in downtown Evansville and is amazing! It was furrrr-eezing, though, and since it's downtown, you have to park forever away!  I was freezing on our walk there, but Zach would say that's what I get for wearing hose instead of jeans!  I just had to dress up with it being Valentine's day!!  Our supper was so good!  Their salad and rolls are so much better than Olive Garden!!!  I had the Chicken alla Crema and Zach had the Chicken Marsala.  Both were so tasty!  We laughed because from the time we entered the restaurant to the time we left was 22 minutes.  We couldn't believe how fast everything was and we were like, "What on earth are we going to do with the rest of the evening?? It's only 6:22!" We entertained the idea of mini golf, but as we drove by it was PACKED!  We decided to go get strawberries and we would make our own chocolate dipped ones.  Then we changed into PJ's right after taking these pics and snuggled on the couch.  I, for one, can't believe this is our last Valentine's day without a child!  It is our 8th one together!

We are so bad at timed pictures!

Ugh!  I look terrible here, but it was the one where Zach was smiling!  I promise that I am not quite that plump...yet!

Future big sister!  Such a sweet Valentine!

Family room re-do featuring.... my curtains! : )

For a while now, we've planned on finally finishing our family room.  That's right, it's kind of been unfinished for the entire time we've lived there.  It was painted and decorated, just no molding and the ceiling was hideous because we (and by we, I mean Zach) took down the drop ceiling the previous owners had put up.  So, anyway, I looked at curtains and didn't really find anything I liked, so I decided I was going to make my own.  Zach and I looked at Jo-Ann's a couple times and each time we looked I liked this fabric more and more.  It was the most expensive fabric I've ever bought, but in the end, it was sooooo worth it! (*Note- I bought the fabric in January before NSM! : )) Here we are at Mama Joyce's one day after church cutting the panels.  I think we were all nervous to cut it.  It was too costly to mess up! Fast forward a couple weeks because I didn't have time, was lazy, and also scared to sew on it, and I finally just delved in an...

Turns out...

Third grade is not bad at all! The kids are still pretty sweet and are so excited for me to be there and I am excited too! I think it will be fun to see all that they can do and have fun with them. Yesterday I received 5 notes on my desk about how excited that I was there and about how much fun we were going to have. I think they are right! Hopefully I get the hang of them quickly, because I start teaching Science (Mon and Wed), Social Studies(Tues and Thur), and PE (Fri) next week!

What I'm Thankful For...

Hey y'all. It's just Nathana in this post. I figured since I've been alive 20 years, that equals 20 Thanksgivings, so I'm gonna have the 20 things I'm most Thankful for. Here goes nothing! : ) 1. The first thing of course I am thankful for is my salvation through Jesus Christ! Without him I have no hope to be anything! 2. My mom and dad, and the home they raised me in. I could not imagine any parents better than mine, and I'm proud to be their daughter. I'm also thankful they didn't give me away to a farm when I was difficult! 3. My brother and sister. No one else knows all of the trouble we've been in and fun we've had over the years and even though we don't always see eye to eye, I wouldn't trade them for any other siblings. 4. Zachary Scheller. God has blessed me with an even better future husband than I could have ever asked for. My love and respect for him grows each day, and I will be so thankful this June when I can ca...
