Bumpdate: Week 33

How Far along: 33 weeks

Baby's size: Size of a durian.  Approx. 18 in. long and maybe as big as 5.8 lbs.  I think they are making up this fruit.  It looks creepy, too.

Weight loss/gain: Up 17 lbs total.  I promise it's all in my belly. Seriously.

Sleep: Still getting up at least once a night, every now and then it is twice.  Some worse this week as I haven't been able to get back to sleep well after around 3:00 am. Charlie Horses are not helping!

Gender: B-O-Y

Movement: We can see him moving my belly all around when we lay down at night and it is so fun to watch!  He has started to push back or move when Zach messes with him! : )  He seems to be kicking my ribs/ high belly area.  I hope I'm right in thinking he has turned!

Best Moment of this week: My first baby shower, getting more things settled in the house and getting some things painted! (Thanks to the help of both our Moms!)

Looking Forward: Easter weekend! Mama and I found my Easter dress a couple weekends ago, and I'm excited to wear it.  I, of course, also just want the weekend.  I guess I'm also looking forward to my birthday this next week!  I'll be exactly 34 weeks on my birthday!

Food cravings: Eating lots of bananas to try to ward off charlie horses in my legs. Other than that, I don't think so.

Anything making you feel sick or queasy: For some reason I've felt sicky when eating breakfast this week.  I feel okay a couple minutes after eating, but for just a few moments while eating, I feel like I'm going to throw up!

Symptoms: Legs and back hurting after a long day at work. I had Charlie horses two mornings and they were so bad I could barely straighten my legs to stretch them.  They are still hurting today!   I told Zach BBS just feels heavy!

Dr. Appt: Next appt. is next week!

Workouts: Moving lots and lots of stuff still this week.  Honestly, though, even if I had a gym membership I wouldn't be going because my legs are hurting so much and I'm so tired at the end of the day.

What I miss:I know I almost always say not much, but I really do mean it.  I'm just so happy to be growing our baby boy and sharing this with the best husband ever.  God is blessing us in ways we never dreamed of.

Things that stink:  Having to get up earlier to get to work with my new longer commute.  Just having to get up and go to work when I just want to sleep.

Things that don't stink: That we could possibly meet our baby is 7 weeks, give or take some time.

Labor signs?:  Nothing yet.

Mama's Thoughts: I feel like BBS has turned head down this week, but of course no way to be sure.  It definitely feels like he is positioned differently and his movements have changed, though.

I was telling someone I will be so surprised if BBS is early, because the entire time I've assumed he will be late.  It would totally throw me off so much, as I've just banked on the assumption that we have at least X amount of weeks from however many weeks I am.

Daddy's Thoughts: "He must be at least 6 lbs by now if the baby apps say 5.5 lbs!"

Baby: Hopefully head down, because I think his little feet are thumping away in my belly/ rib area!

Family room re-do featuring.... my curtains! : )

For a while now, we've planned on finally finishing our family room.  That's right, it's kind of been unfinished for the entire time we've lived there.  It was painted and decorated, just no molding and the ceiling was hideous because we (and by we, I mean Zach) took down the drop ceiling the previous owners had put up.  So, anyway, I looked at curtains and didn't really find anything I liked, so I decided I was going to make my own.  Zach and I looked at Jo-Ann's a couple times and each time we looked I liked this fabric more and more.  It was the most expensive fabric I've ever bought, but in the end, it was sooooo worth it! (*Note- I bought the fabric in January before NSM! : )) Here we are at Mama Joyce's one day after church cutting the panels.  I think we were all nervous to cut it.  It was too costly to mess up! Fast forward a couple weeks because I didn't have time, was lazy, and also scared to sew on it, and I finally just delved in an...

Turns out...

Third grade is not bad at all! The kids are still pretty sweet and are so excited for me to be there and I am excited too! I think it will be fun to see all that they can do and have fun with them. Yesterday I received 5 notes on my desk about how excited that I was there and about how much fun we were going to have. I think they are right! Hopefully I get the hang of them quickly, because I start teaching Science (Mon and Wed), Social Studies(Tues and Thur), and PE (Fri) next week!

What I'm Thankful For...

Hey y'all. It's just Nathana in this post. I figured since I've been alive 20 years, that equals 20 Thanksgivings, so I'm gonna have the 20 things I'm most Thankful for. Here goes nothing! : ) 1. The first thing of course I am thankful for is my salvation through Jesus Christ! Without him I have no hope to be anything! 2. My mom and dad, and the home they raised me in. I could not imagine any parents better than mine, and I'm proud to be their daughter. I'm also thankful they didn't give me away to a farm when I was difficult! 3. My brother and sister. No one else knows all of the trouble we've been in and fun we've had over the years and even though we don't always see eye to eye, I wouldn't trade them for any other siblings. 4. Zachary Scheller. God has blessed me with an even better future husband than I could have ever asked for. My love and respect for him grows each day, and I will be so thankful this June when I can ca...
