Bumpdate: Week 34

How Far along: 34 weeks

Baby's size:Butternut squash (Approx. 17-19ish inches long and around 5.5 lbs)

Weight loss/gain: Up 20 lbs.

Sleep: I am sweating like a pig during the night, and it gets worse at around 4 a.m. when I wake up for my second bathroom trip.  I sweat through my clothes and my pregnancy pillow!  So gross!  Last night we kept the fan on and that helped some.  I think I am sleeping with one sheet on and Zach is using the sheet, 2 blankets, and comforter!  Bless his sweet heart! : )

Gender: B-O-Y

Movement: He likes kicking me in the ribs for sure!  He moves like crazy and we are just enjoying every moment!

Best Moment of this week:Celebrating my birthday with Zach and going to Biaggi's, then Baskin Robbins to get my cake!

Looking Forward: My birthday, which is today!!

Food cravings:Nothing!

Anything making you feel sick or queasy: Nope!

Symptoms: Sweatiness (not even sure that's a word) and charlie horses in my legs!  Nothing too bad if you ask me!

Dr. Appt: Had my Dr. Appt today (Tuesday) and everything looked great.  BBS's heart rate was 147, my belly measured right on track, and my blood pressure was a little high, but I know that was just due to me running around getting there and not having time to rest.  BBS is still breech, the little stinker.  I have been praying he will turn, and will now be even earnest in that prayer.  Please pray for us as well, if you'd like!  I know he has plenty of time to turn, but I am just worrying about it because I know the consequence of a breech baby when it comes to delivery time!

Workouts:  Ha. Ha. Ha. Walking around school all day doing my job.  House work at home.

What I miss: I really don't miss anything.  Except my sweet husband.  I feel like he is working himself ragged and we haven't gotten to see each other lately!

Things that stink: Knowing BBS is breech when I really want him to be head down.

Things that don't stink: Getting to hear BBS's heart beat today.  Also, my birthday is this week!! I'm actually 34 weeks on my birthday!  Two things to celebrate!

Labor signs?:  I'm not totally sure, but I think I had some kind of labor like pains in the middle of the night over the weekend.

Mama's Thoughts: I scheduled my Dr. appt for two weeks from now, and then scheduled my 37, 38, and 39 week appointments.  The only one I haven't is the week he is due.  It is so surreal and I really think I am in denial that he could be here in about 6 weeks or so.  Again, I have to say, if he is early, I don't know what I will do, because I am just so sure he will be late.  Here's hoping I get every bit of my next six weeks before he is here.  Mama's got to get as "ready" as she can!

Daddy's Thoughts: "I just can't wait to meet him."

Baby:"Hehehe, I just love keeping Mama and Daddy on their toes already!" : )

Family room re-do featuring.... my curtains! : )

For a while now, we've planned on finally finishing our family room.  That's right, it's kind of been unfinished for the entire time we've lived there.  It was painted and decorated, just no molding and the ceiling was hideous because we (and by we, I mean Zach) took down the drop ceiling the previous owners had put up.  So, anyway, I looked at curtains and didn't really find anything I liked, so I decided I was going to make my own.  Zach and I looked at Jo-Ann's a couple times and each time we looked I liked this fabric more and more.  It was the most expensive fabric I've ever bought, but in the end, it was sooooo worth it! (*Note- I bought the fabric in January before NSM! : )) Here we are at Mama Joyce's one day after church cutting the panels.  I think we were all nervous to cut it.  It was too costly to mess up! Fast forward a couple weeks because I didn't have time, was lazy, and also scared to sew on it, and I finally just delved in an...

What I'm Thankful For...

Hey y'all. It's just Nathana in this post. I figured since I've been alive 20 years, that equals 20 Thanksgivings, so I'm gonna have the 20 things I'm most Thankful for. Here goes nothing! : ) 1. The first thing of course I am thankful for is my salvation through Jesus Christ! Without him I have no hope to be anything! 2. My mom and dad, and the home they raised me in. I could not imagine any parents better than mine, and I'm proud to be their daughter. I'm also thankful they didn't give me away to a farm when I was difficult! 3. My brother and sister. No one else knows all of the trouble we've been in and fun we've had over the years and even though we don't always see eye to eye, I wouldn't trade them for any other siblings. 4. Zachary Scheller. God has blessed me with an even better future husband than I could have ever asked for. My love and respect for him grows each day, and I will be so thankful this June when I can ca...

No-spend February

I have always been a "saver" of money, practically since I started receiving it for birthdays and especially since earning it.  I nearly cried when I paid $211 dollars cash for my iPod nano when I was 16. True fact!  So a long time ago I heard of a "Dave Ramsey" type idea of a no-spend month where in your household you pay your bills and buy groceries, and no extras for one month.  Then see how much you save.  Before the new year Zach and I were thinking about plans for this next year and things we're planning on saving for, so this idea appealed to the both of us!  Next came the decision of what month to pick for our month.  We knew December was out, for obvious reasons and we felt we needed more time to prepare than January, so February it was... also, who else would admit we're smart for doing this during the shortest month of the year? ; )  Yes, we thought of that as well. We did decide our own guidelines that fit our family. 1. Pay our bills....
