1 Scheller, 2 Scheller, 3 Scheller... 4!

Today, on September 11, 2014, we got the news that we have been aching for for the last 18 months.  After some difficulty, we got a positive (make it 2, I just had to) pregnancy tests!  I knew that I could take a test Monday, and did, but the stupid thing was invalid.  The control line didn't show up.  It said to wait 3 days and take another.  I honestly thought my cycle was about to start, but today I felt just a little sicky throughout the day.  I also noted to Zach last week that I could barely muster the will to do my workouts several days.  I didn't take a test in the morning because it just didn't cross my mind that I would be pregnant.  So I held my pee for about two hours, and figured I was enough days post- ovulation that it wouldn't matter what time of day it was.  Zach knocked on the bathroom door and asked if I was taking a test and I told him I was.  I laid it on the tub and immediately yanked the shower curtain closed so I couldn't peek.  I've seen plenty of negative pregnancy tests, so I pretty much just expected to see more of the same.  I pulled the curtain back slowly and immediately was shocked to see a VERY positive plus sign in the window.  I called Zach in and just kept saying, "Honey.... Honey..." over and over again, dotted with "I can't believe it."  It was like we in a dream looking in on someone else, because surely this couldn't be real life.

First family picture of 4!
Getting excited! And still in disbelief!

Family room re-do featuring.... my curtains! : )

For a while now, we've planned on finally finishing our family room.  That's right, it's kind of been unfinished for the entire time we've lived there.  It was painted and decorated, just no molding and the ceiling was hideous because we (and by we, I mean Zach) took down the drop ceiling the previous owners had put up.  So, anyway, I looked at curtains and didn't really find anything I liked, so I decided I was going to make my own.  Zach and I looked at Jo-Ann's a couple times and each time we looked I liked this fabric more and more.  It was the most expensive fabric I've ever bought, but in the end, it was sooooo worth it! (*Note- I bought the fabric in January before NSM! : )) Here we are at Mama Joyce's one day after church cutting the panels.  I think we were all nervous to cut it.  It was too costly to mess up! Fast forward a couple weeks because I didn't have time, was lazy, and also scared to sew on it, and I finally just delved in an...

Turns out...

Third grade is not bad at all! The kids are still pretty sweet and are so excited for me to be there and I am excited too! I think it will be fun to see all that they can do and have fun with them. Yesterday I received 5 notes on my desk about how excited that I was there and about how much fun we were going to have. I think they are right! Hopefully I get the hang of them quickly, because I start teaching Science (Mon and Wed), Social Studies(Tues and Thur), and PE (Fri) next week!

What I'm Thankful For...

Hey y'all. It's just Nathana in this post. I figured since I've been alive 20 years, that equals 20 Thanksgivings, so I'm gonna have the 20 things I'm most Thankful for. Here goes nothing! : ) 1. The first thing of course I am thankful for is my salvation through Jesus Christ! Without him I have no hope to be anything! 2. My mom and dad, and the home they raised me in. I could not imagine any parents better than mine, and I'm proud to be their daughter. I'm also thankful they didn't give me away to a farm when I was difficult! 3. My brother and sister. No one else knows all of the trouble we've been in and fun we've had over the years and even though we don't always see eye to eye, I wouldn't trade them for any other siblings. 4. Zachary Scheller. God has blessed me with an even better future husband than I could have ever asked for. My love and respect for him grows each day, and I will be so thankful this June when I can ca...
