Bumpdate: Week 7

How Far along: 7 weeks

Baby's size: blueberry!

Weight loss/gain: Lost about 3 lbs, I've been working out normally, and plan to continue unless the OB says otherwise!

Sleep:  I should not have bragged about my "rock sleeping!" Starting this week I get up nightly to go pee and if I try to resist it and go back to sleep, I hurt!  I think there was only one night that I didn't get up.  Thankfully, I am able to fall right back to sleep! : ) Yay!

Gender:  Chinese gender chart predicts a bouncing baby boy, but again, who knows?  I still say I don't want us to find out, and Zach is not swaying that he definitely does!

Movement: Baby is moving in there reportedly, but I am oblivious to it (of course) and will be for quite a while!

Best Moment of this week: My first Dr. Appt being 2 days away!

Looking Forward to: The dr. appt for confirmation and scheduling my first ultrasound after that!

Food cravings:  Nothing so far.

Weirdest Food I ate last week: Nothing really.  I just feel like I eat all. day. long.

Anything making you feel sick or queasy: Morning/Noon/Night sickness arrived at the very beginning of the week when I was babysitting Saturday night.  I ate mini corn dogs at the people's house and felt sooo incredibly sick for the next 7 hours until I went to bed.  Thankfully, it seems like I have a bad
sicky" day and then the next day is better.  At least BS is letting it alternate!

Symptoms:  Just the icky-sicky!

Workouts: Walked on treadmill Monday and Wednesday.

What I miss:  Not a thing.  I can't complain it all because I know those who would do anything to be pregnant, and I'm not taking anything for granted!

Things that stink: Feeling sick, just because I feel like I am quicker to snap at the kids and I just feel kinda lousy.

Things that don't stink: Knowing our little miracle is growing in my tummy and that our God is knitting them together in his image.  Sweetest thing ever!  Also, Zach ran out and got everything known to man to help pregnancy sickness on Monday night.  Melted my heart, and it made me feel some better!

Mama's Thoughts: I am of course reminded daily of BS's presence, and am so thankful God is choosing me to be his/her mother.  I honestly don't care if we have a girl or boy, just praying that they are perfectly healthy in there!

Daddy's Thoughts: Zach didn't say a whole lot on baby, but is still doing a great job of rubbing my belly cream on every night (awww!) and prays over baby every night.  I just know he's going to be the best and sweetest daddy!

Family room re-do featuring.... my curtains! : )

For a while now, we've planned on finally finishing our family room.  That's right, it's kind of been unfinished for the entire time we've lived there.  It was painted and decorated, just no molding and the ceiling was hideous because we (and by we, I mean Zach) took down the drop ceiling the previous owners had put up.  So, anyway, I looked at curtains and didn't really find anything I liked, so I decided I was going to make my own.  Zach and I looked at Jo-Ann's a couple times and each time we looked I liked this fabric more and more.  It was the most expensive fabric I've ever bought, but in the end, it was sooooo worth it! (*Note- I bought the fabric in January before NSM! : )) Here we are at Mama Joyce's one day after church cutting the panels.  I think we were all nervous to cut it.  It was too costly to mess up! Fast forward a couple weeks because I didn't have time, was lazy, and also scared to sew on it, and I finally just delved in an...

Turns out...

Third grade is not bad at all! The kids are still pretty sweet and are so excited for me to be there and I am excited too! I think it will be fun to see all that they can do and have fun with them. Yesterday I received 5 notes on my desk about how excited that I was there and about how much fun we were going to have. I think they are right! Hopefully I get the hang of them quickly, because I start teaching Science (Mon and Wed), Social Studies(Tues and Thur), and PE (Fri) next week!

What I'm Thankful For...

Hey y'all. It's just Nathana in this post. I figured since I've been alive 20 years, that equals 20 Thanksgivings, so I'm gonna have the 20 things I'm most Thankful for. Here goes nothing! : ) 1. The first thing of course I am thankful for is my salvation through Jesus Christ! Without him I have no hope to be anything! 2. My mom and dad, and the home they raised me in. I could not imagine any parents better than mine, and I'm proud to be their daughter. I'm also thankful they didn't give me away to a farm when I was difficult! 3. My brother and sister. No one else knows all of the trouble we've been in and fun we've had over the years and even though we don't always see eye to eye, I wouldn't trade them for any other siblings. 4. Zachary Scheller. God has blessed me with an even better future husband than I could have ever asked for. My love and respect for him grows each day, and I will be so thankful this June when I can ca...
