Bumpdate: Week 12

One more week without a picture. Boo!  Again, I blame all the puking!

How Far along: 12 weeks

Baby's size: plum

Weight loss/gain: Lost 4 lbs since being sick so much.

Sleep: Still (almost) nightly pee trips, but sleep is good!

Gender: TBA in May. Zach really wants to find out, so we have discussed what we're going to do!  Could be interesting!

Movement: I'm sure Shim is moving and grooving in there, but I don't feel anything of course!

Best Moment of this week: The times I wasn't throwing up and not feeling sick.  Kinda few and far between! Zach was taking good care of me, though!

Looking Forward: To feeling better!

Food cravings:  Chick-fil-a has still been my #1 desire when we are out and about, and I did have it
a couple times this week.  Can I say that I am surprised I haven't wanted sweets that much?  They honestly make me feel kind of sick, which if a FIRST in my entire life! Ha!

Weirdest Food I ate last week: Nada, especially since I wasn't eating a whole lot!

Anything making you feel sick or queasy: Having the actual stomach bug!

Symptoms:  My lower back has hurt a little and the other normal stuff!

Workouts: Non-existent, unless throwing up counts? : ) Ehh?  No? Darn!

What I miss: Feeling well! Haha

Things that stink: Throwing up.  It is just the absolute worst!

Things that don't stink: Being taken care of by Zach and my Mama.  Knowing that this too shall pass!

Mama's Thoughts: I hope baby is doing great in there despite all the icky sicky stuff.  I can't believe how big Shim is getting and that they'll only keep getting bigger!

Daddy's Thoughts: Zach really hates puke.  He was possibly as happy as me when I stopped upchucking!

Family room re-do featuring.... my curtains! : )

For a while now, we've planned on finally finishing our family room.  That's right, it's kind of been unfinished for the entire time we've lived there.  It was painted and decorated, just no molding and the ceiling was hideous because we (and by we, I mean Zach) took down the drop ceiling the previous owners had put up.  So, anyway, I looked at curtains and didn't really find anything I liked, so I decided I was going to make my own.  Zach and I looked at Jo-Ann's a couple times and each time we looked I liked this fabric more and more.  It was the most expensive fabric I've ever bought, but in the end, it was sooooo worth it! (*Note- I bought the fabric in January before NSM! : )) Here we are at Mama Joyce's one day after church cutting the panels.  I think we were all nervous to cut it.  It was too costly to mess up! Fast forward a couple weeks because I didn't have time, was lazy, and also scared to sew on it, and I finally just delved in an...

Turns out...

Third grade is not bad at all! The kids are still pretty sweet and are so excited for me to be there and I am excited too! I think it will be fun to see all that they can do and have fun with them. Yesterday I received 5 notes on my desk about how excited that I was there and about how much fun we were going to have. I think they are right! Hopefully I get the hang of them quickly, because I start teaching Science (Mon and Wed), Social Studies(Tues and Thur), and PE (Fri) next week!

What I'm Thankful For...

Hey y'all. It's just Nathana in this post. I figured since I've been alive 20 years, that equals 20 Thanksgivings, so I'm gonna have the 20 things I'm most Thankful for. Here goes nothing! : ) 1. The first thing of course I am thankful for is my salvation through Jesus Christ! Without him I have no hope to be anything! 2. My mom and dad, and the home they raised me in. I could not imagine any parents better than mine, and I'm proud to be their daughter. I'm also thankful they didn't give me away to a farm when I was difficult! 3. My brother and sister. No one else knows all of the trouble we've been in and fun we've had over the years and even though we don't always see eye to eye, I wouldn't trade them for any other siblings. 4. Zachary Scheller. God has blessed me with an even better future husband than I could have ever asked for. My love and respect for him grows each day, and I will be so thankful this June when I can ca...
