Vacation, All I ever wanted!!!

Now that you are all singing along, here is a picture recap of our vacation to Destin, Florida. Zach was ellusive of pictures, so I worked with what I had! Hehe.

Here is Zach at the huge Alvin's Island in Panama City Beach. We drove over there on Thursday night to eat at Pineapple Willy's. He was way excited!

Here is Zach and I at Pineapple Willy's. He wasn't thrilled about having to wait 1 hour for us to be seated, but it was well worth it when I got my ribs!

Here I am before we went out. Zach was relaxing inside out of the heat.

Inside picture!

See, there he is! : )

This was Tuesday night when everyone else went out to eat seafood, but my sweet husband said we could go somewhere I could eat and that he didn't even care if he ate seafood!

We ended up at Jim N' Nicks BBQ with no wait and where we were given these delicious cheddar biscuits. They were seriously sooooo yummy! I wish we had a Jim n' Nicks up at home!

And again. I just noticed that Zach has on two different shirts in these past two pictures. I'm prett sure he wore the polo to supper.

My cousin, Jonathan, with his "short" coffee from Starbucks. He saw online that they offered a size smaller than "tall" and wanted to try one for himself.

This was Monday night when we cooked at the Town House while everybody went out to seafood. We had rib-eye steaks, corn, and broccoli with cheese.

Zach grilling the steaks. Look closely and you can see that it started POURING rain while we were cooking. I got soaking wet as well walking back and forth to the town house.

Pre-rain, hair up, still not very good for that day. I had been at the beach earlier.
Zach at McAlister's.
Zach when we first got to the townhouse.
Mama and Daddy when Mama, Suzanne, and Mama Joyce first got to the town house.

Well, I am disappointed I didn't even get a picture of the beach, but I didn't want to take my camera down there much, and I guess I just forgot! We had a fabulous time and I can't wait for the next time we go!

Family room re-do featuring.... my curtains! : )

For a while now, we've planned on finally finishing our family room.  That's right, it's kind of been unfinished for the entire time we've lived there.  It was painted and decorated, just no molding and the ceiling was hideous because we (and by we, I mean Zach) took down the drop ceiling the previous owners had put up.  So, anyway, I looked at curtains and didn't really find anything I liked, so I decided I was going to make my own.  Zach and I looked at Jo-Ann's a couple times and each time we looked I liked this fabric more and more.  It was the most expensive fabric I've ever bought, but in the end, it was sooooo worth it! (*Note- I bought the fabric in January before NSM! : )) Here we are at Mama Joyce's one day after church cutting the panels.  I think we were all nervous to cut it.  It was too costly to mess up! Fast forward a couple weeks because I didn't have time, was lazy, and also scared to sew on it, and I finally just delved in an...

Turns out...

Third grade is not bad at all! The kids are still pretty sweet and are so excited for me to be there and I am excited too! I think it will be fun to see all that they can do and have fun with them. Yesterday I received 5 notes on my desk about how excited that I was there and about how much fun we were going to have. I think they are right! Hopefully I get the hang of them quickly, because I start teaching Science (Mon and Wed), Social Studies(Tues and Thur), and PE (Fri) next week!

What I'm Thankful For...

Hey y'all. It's just Nathana in this post. I figured since I've been alive 20 years, that equals 20 Thanksgivings, so I'm gonna have the 20 things I'm most Thankful for. Here goes nothing! : ) 1. The first thing of course I am thankful for is my salvation through Jesus Christ! Without him I have no hope to be anything! 2. My mom and dad, and the home they raised me in. I could not imagine any parents better than mine, and I'm proud to be their daughter. I'm also thankful they didn't give me away to a farm when I was difficult! 3. My brother and sister. No one else knows all of the trouble we've been in and fun we've had over the years and even though we don't always see eye to eye, I wouldn't trade them for any other siblings. 4. Zachary Scheller. God has blessed me with an even better future husband than I could have ever asked for. My love and respect for him grows each day, and I will be so thankful this June when I can ca...
