Valentine's Weekend

Zach and I seemed to stretch out Valentine's day for the whole weekend! On Friday night we had pizza ordered in (pineapple and mushroom, my FAVORITE, Thanks honey!) Then on Saturday, Zach took me to downtown Henderson to Memories, a little antique shop, and bought me a McGuffey reader to add to my collection! After that, we went to Bed, Bath, and Beyond in Evansville and Zach bought me a back massage machine that goes in the chair! It does shiatsu massage and feel wonderful! He jokes that now he won't ever have to give me massages anymore, but that's not true! Then we went back to his house, and he opened his present from me, a balance thing that measures reloading stuff for guns! As you can guess, I don't exactly know what it is, I just said, "Pick something out unless you want some new polos." Motivates him every time! Today after church and lunch at Mama Joyce's we rushed to the west side of Evansville and went to the movies! We saw "When

Foooootball!

Tonight, instead of focusing on the ball game, we basically watched the commercials and ate in between. Aubrie really got into the game though and was sitting in her little chair just watching. She would say, " I watching the fooootball! What happened?" This is also her current favorite question. Also, I was doing leg lifts on the couch, and she came over and laid down on my legs and wrapped her arms around them. So then I began to lift her up and down, and count, "1, 2, 3, 4, 5!" and she would count along. After I did a few sets of five, when I counted to five, she looked at me, still holding on to my legs, and whispered, "Six," and I said six, and then she whispered, "Seven," and we continued this until we got to ten! Only instead of whispering 10 she yelled, "Ten!!!!" I had never heard her count from 1 to 10 before without skipping any numbers, and it was so cute! She is a very smart little girl and I'm very lucky to be he

Well...

This week, a lady from Abbington's, the place we're getting the bridesmaid's dresses from, called to let me know that they couldn't do the dress in the colors I wanted. Only problem that makes it upsetting is that they originally told me they COULD. She then proceeded to list off other options that I could do and my head was just spinning. At one point she said, "Or you could just start over from scratch!" I don't think so! So it turns out the dresses can still be made with solid fuschia, and no light pink sash, which I was so excited about, as ya'll read in one of my previous post. : ( But for now I said to go ahead and order them since I have spent the last 3 weekends dress shopping and am fed up with it! They WILL work out one way or another, and I am hoping we can work out a way to make lighter sashes for them ourselves! This was my first experience with an almost "Bridezilla" moment and hopefully it won't flare up again before

The things I learn in college...

Well, tonight in my music class, we got to play our recorders for the first time! You must remember, that I am taking classes where we learn to teach these things to elementary kids, so half of the time we feel like idiots. So we got to playing one note, and then another, until finally we could play "Hot Cross Buns." And this is what my parents are paying for! : ) Oh well, it's much better than having to take Organic Chem. or something! I just thought it was pretty hilarious and would let everybody know how I spend 3 precious hours on monday night! Let's pray this week goes by quickly and the weekend lasts a long time! Also, to all my cousins and friends who have been brides, I need ideas for invitations! Let's get on that, shall we?!
