Bumpdate: 41 weeks!

How Far along: 41 weeks.   Baby's size: Size of a jack fruit!  Around 7.5 lbs. (I think he's going to be about 8 lbs and Zach's official guess is 9 lbs. 2 oz.  I hope he's wrong!) Weight loss/gain: 30 lbs. (So glad the weight gain is slowing down!) Sleep: I told Zach I no longer am even trying to keep track of how much I am getting up to go to the bathroom. Gender: B-O-Y Movement:  He has been back to his super active little self this week.  Best Moment of this week:  Getting to spend time at home together now that we're finished with the old house.  Also, the 3 day weekend!  We didn't sleep in, much, but we figure that's all about to end anyway! Looking Forward: Getting to meet our baby boy.  I think it will be a little weird, because I truly don't feel like I'm finished being pregnant yet.  But, alas, we pretty much have to follow Dr.'s orders. Food cravings: Still pineapple!  So yummy!  Especial

Bumpdate: 40 weeks!

How Far along: 40 weeks.  We made it the whole time! Baby's size: Size of a jack fruit!  Around 7.5 lbs. I have never heard of a jack fruit. Weight loss/gain: 28 lbs. (So glad the weight gain is slowing down!) Thankfully everybody who sees me tells me I am so lucky that I have gained it all in my belly.   I think I have to agree that's where it all is.  Sadly, that is the exact spot I always have trouble losing it! (<-- again="" br="" ditto="" this="" to="" week=""> Sleep: I told Zach I no longer am even trying to keep track of how much I am getting up to go to the bathroom. Gender: B-O-Y Movement: I think he has slowed down a lot this week, but he is still moving plenty when doing "kick counts." Best Moment of this week: Resting at home and getting as "ready" as we can for BBS.  Making it to 40 weeks and feeling like I have completed this pregnancy to the bes

Bumpdate: Week 39

Pretty sure we can't get any bigger! The stripes were pulled oddly on my shirt, resulting in this odd picture! How Far along: 39 weeks Baby's size: Size of a watermelon!  Around 7.5 lbs.  I laughed and told my Mama he feels like a watermelon! Weight loss/gain: 25 lbs. (So glad the weight gain is slowing down!) Thankfully everybody who sees me tells me I am so lucky that I have gained it all in my belly.   I think I have to agree that's where it all is.  Sadly, that is the exact spot I always have trouble losing it! Sleep: I have had a couple bad nights, with the contractions and pains I've been having.  Tuesday night I only got up ONCE to go to the bathroom, and that was awesome! Gender: B-O-Y Movement: He is still an active boy!  Big movements! Best Moment of this week: Being off work so I can rest.  My swelling has been much better. Looking Forward: Meeting our son and seeing Zach with him. Also looking forward

Zach is 26!

My husband, best friend in the world, and sweetheart is 26 now! We celebrated him with my side of the family on the 17th after church. Then he opened one gift from Nellie and I early (because we're softies like that) on Sunday and one gift on his actual birthday! I think we are going to eat with his parents while working on the old house tonight.  I have no pictures from when he opened my presents to him, and I think just a couple from mama and daddy's house. I am a slacker!

Scheller Baby Shower

On May 9, we had our last baby shower for Zach's side of the family! Zach's Granny and Mom got us our glider and ottoman!  The baby blanket is Zach's from when he was little.  It was made  by his great-grandma! I love this picture or Aubrie and I.  No idea what we were saying to each other, but so sweet! Didn't get a bunch of pictures, but we had a pretty good turn out!  Baby boy is once again spoiled again!!

Family/ Church Baby Shower

April 18th, our Sunday School class and my Mama's Sunday school class threw us our family and church baby shower!  It was so amazing and Zach and I can't believe how loved we (and baby boy) are.  God has blessed us with a wonderful church family! I'll let the pictures do the talking with just a few captions from me!! My cake made by my Mama Joyce! : ) Can you believe the gifts? My Mama Joyce and Mary Ruth! Lexie! Blanket made by my Mama Joyce!  Lexie was such a good helper! Sock monkey outfit from my sister! Our stroller, car seat, and base from my parents! I must have a way with words!! ; ) Zach's Mom, Me, Granny Mama and me! Lauren, Logan, Lexie, and me!  Lauren moved herself up to #1 cousin status by making the 3.5 or 4 hour trip to come to the shower... and took pictures! : )

Bumpdate: Week 38

How Far along: 38 weeks Baby's size: a pumpkin ~7 lbs or so Weight loss/gain: 27 lbs : ( Sleep: 3-4 times a night, but I had two extremes this last week as one night I only got up once (which was amazing) and one night where I got up 6-7! That was not as fun! But I am sleeping pretty well! Gender: B-O-Y Movement: He is pretty much out of room, but he still is moving a lot! He just feels so big! We never get tired of feeling of him, though! Best Moment of this week: It's my last week of school! My poor cankles and feet can't take it anymore, so I will be bidding my students adieu tomorrow!!! Looking Forward: next dr. appt to see if there had been any more progress. Now that I am finished with work, I am fine with him coming anytime! Food cravings: still good old pineapple! And I would really like some Cheesecake Factory cheesecake, but apparently I'm not allowed to drive to Louisville to get some! 😑 Anything ma

Bumpdate: Week 37

How Far along: 37 weeks Baby's size: Size of a winter melon- Around 6.5 lbs! Weight loss/gain: 25 lbs. Sleep: 3-4 bathroom trips a night.  It had been a little exhausting getting up that much, but at least I am good at going back to sleep after that!  I also have been sleeping with just the sheet on me while Zach snuggles in everything else, which is fine with me.  I do not want to be hot at all! Gender: B-O-Y Movement: Huge jabs and limbs moving around.  I can totally feel his head when he turns it! Best Moment of this week: The fact that I barely swelled at all.  I was so excited!  Looking Forward: Next Dr. appt to see what BBS is up to! Food cravings: Nope! Anything making you feel sick or queasy: Nope! Symptoms: Less swelling!  Yay!  I pretty much feel great!  My hips only get a tiny bit sore overnight if I lay on one side too long. Dr. Appt: : )  I am now 2 cm dilated and 60% effaced.  When Dr. B was checki

Bumpdate: Week 36

How Far along: 36 weeks Baby's size:A honeydew- Around 6 or so lbs! Weight loss/gain: 23 lbs. Sleep: 2, 3, or even 4 trips a night! Gender: B-O-Y Movement: He is totally running out of "womb" ; ) but he is still moving as much as he can! Best Moment of this week: My baby shower and Dr. appt.  More on that below! Looking Forward: To my last day of work!  Not too much longer to go! Food cravings: Nothing! Anything making you feel sick or queasy: Nope! Symptoms: Still swelling pretty big in the ankle and foot region.  Zach is enjoying that a lot! Haha! Dr. Appt:  BBS is officially head down.  When the Dr. felt around on my belly, he said he thought he was head down, but would definitely be able to tell when he did my cervical check... That confirmed he was!  I told Dr. B and the Nurse we all needed to say, "Amen!"  I was also 1.5 cm dilated and 30% effaced.  Baby's heartbeat was right at 140 yet
