Ten on Thursday

I bet you thought I forgot about you, right? Yet again, I remembered right before bed time that it was ten on Thursday... But it's my cheating edition. I am lazy and can't find my camera cord to upload photos so I am going to cheat and write the whole entry today and add the pictures tomorrow. : ) Deal? 1. I did get the hair CUT and it is a pretty big change if I do say so myself. 2. Zach also got a haircut today from yours truly. His is lovely as well, but he wouldn't let me take a picture. Spoil-sport! 3. I have realized this week I hate October because that is when all of the horror/thriller movies come out for the year. This leads to there being scary commercials on TV all the time. Which leads to me screaming my head off until I can change the channel. I can't help it that I am such a big chicken. 4. This weekend our friends Ryan and Kayleigh are having a yard sale. We are putting some items in it as well, so we'll be up BRIGHT and EARLY Saturday morni

Remember....

How I said we were both gonna get haircuts? Well, Zach has not kept me on my toes enough, so I STILL haven't cut his and I am getting mine cut tomorrow. And I don't mean a trim, a CUT. I am not for sure what I'm going to do, but as some of you know I am a big baby when it comes to getting my hair cut, so let's hope it goes well. I may go ahead and cut Zach's tomorrow too since I should have the time. So for all of you on bated breath (haha) check back in tomorrow to see the drastic (or maybe not so drastic) change! We'll just have to see what tomorrow brings. : ) Nathana

3 months

Today Zach and I have been married for 3 months! That's 1/4 of a year! It doesn't seem like it has been that long at all. Like many people told us, it is a BIG adjustment! Here we are at a wedding that was at church last night! Not the best picture ever, but Mama was having trouble with my camera. Here is Zach at his family reunion two weekends ago! As you can see, he had a relaxing time! : ) That's it for now! More pictures from different things later!

Ten on Thursday

1. Working all week with school is insane. Don't think I'll be working this much again for a while! 2. We went and saw "Easy A" last night. We thought it was pretty funny, but were extremely disappointed with the language. They used a certain phrase that I hate hate hate to hear and at one point I told Zach we were leaving if they said it again. That being said, I wouldn't recommend you to see it. Just wait until they show it on TV and they have all the words bleeped out. It would be much better! 3. We had chicken parmesan for supper tonight. The best part was that we both collaborated and did part of it instead of just one of us cooking. I have to say we make a pretty awesome team! 4. Both Zach and I need haircuts. I'm going to cut Zach's tomorrow, and possibly get my hair cut Saturday. I hate having my hair cut, but I really want to try a new style! Any ideas that won't make me look awful!? ; ) 5. Zach is an awesome cleaner. He has been work

Ten on Thursday

Happy Thursday! 1. We have great news! Zach got a job that starts next thursday! He will work for Direct TV installing satellite systems. He hopes to do this until he can re-apply for the electrical union next year. 2. I will be subbing at the daycare where I used to work next week. They called because they are short staffed, so I guess I will welcome the opportunity to make a little money! 3. I am actually ready for fall this year. After this incredibly HOT summer, it is nice to feel a little chill in the air! I am also looking forward to decorating for all of the major holidays coming up! I think it is a little different and more exciting when it's your own home! 4. Zach's family reunion was good this weekend. I even remembered some of the people's names from last year. There was lots of good food and conversation. 5. While at the family reunion, Zach and I took Aubrie fishing. For some reason he was using "snack stiks" as bait. These are basically

Hey it's Thursday!

I was checking our blog and suddenly realized, "It's Thursday! So it's time for Ten on Thursday!" I guess it's going to take some getting used to because I had almost forgotten it! 1.) Zach found out that he did not get into the electrical apprenticeship and we were both disappointed! We also guess that this just wasn't what God has planned for him now and he is actively seeking what the plan is! He is also looking for a job that is closer to home, so please pray he finds one soon! 2.) My second week of classes was awesome! Haha, mostly because I only had two days of class because of labor day! Yay! 3.) Mama and Daddy are going to Cincinnati, Ohio this weekend for Mama to attend a physical therapy seminar. When we were little, we might have been going too! Now we're all having to do the grown up thing instead, which is way less fun! Hope they have a good time though! 4.) Our water here in Southern Indiana and Kentucky is tasting like DIRT these da

Our Honeymoon

Here are the pictures I could pick as good enough to share! I took way too many! We stayed in a cabin in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee and had a wonderful, relaxing time. We both had to agree though it was so weird not being on vacation with our families. We are ready to go back any time! (I don't think either one of us wanted to come home!) Heading off to the honeymoon with my new husband!! : ) Finally stopped for the night in Lebanon, TN! Zach was in heaven! The Bass Pro Shop speaks the truth! Before we went out to supper. One night we had supper at Fuddrucker's, which I had never heard of before. It was really good though! Zach showing his skill at Ripley's Farm mini-golf. This was the sky when we about half way through the course... ...and this was the sky 5 minutes later! We JUST made it to the car and it started pouring. We also got to go to Ripley's Aquarium! We happened to be there at feeding time, so that was cool to watch! Us in the tunnel. These bad boys wer

Bellfield Bridal Shower

I decided to catch up on some things that were very exciting building up towards the wedding! I am going to try my best to put up some of the best pictures from the bridal shower the sweet ladies at our church threw for me! The Calphalon pots and pans my Mama and Daddy got us! Upon using them the first time we have loved them! This is my Italy apron from my friend Elizabeth! She studied abroad in Rome this past semester and brought me this back! So sweet of her to think of me! This is one of our place setting of Mikasa China. We have 11 place settings so far! These are the crystal goblets we picked out and they are so pretty! Not to be biased, BUT I have to say Mama Joyce got me the present I was so desperate to get! It was the last present that I opened and I was SO excited! I LOVE my pink KitchenAid mixer!! Thank you Mama Joyce! Here I am with my sister-in-law, Sarah, and my sister, Suzanne. Me with Mary Ruth and Mama Joyce. Here I am with Zach's mom on the left and my Mama
