A girl...

After her daddy's own heart! She's his little hunting buddy! : )

Thanksgiving!

We spent Thanksgiving with Zach's family this year and it was a beautiful day! We even ate outside! Nellie is in her Thanksgiving skirt I made her. It didn't stay on long! Then there's me! I didn't get a picture of Zach and I on my phone, but his mom did, so hopefully I'll get it sometime! Then there's my nephew and I! Love those cheeks! Nellie was exhausted when we got home! She didn't take a nap the entire day, so she was worn out! The last picture is just proof that I cleared out a spot for our Christmas tree. I actually cleaned like a maniac yesterday and moved the recliner and cabinet by myself! The tree is almost finished, so Christmas decorations are up next!

Zach's buck (11-10-12)

I went hunting with Zach this morning, and nothing came close to us, so naturally when I babysat that night, he got a deer!  He called so excited and I was so happy for him!  It was a 10 point buck!  Happy guy!  Close up!

Trunk or Treat 2012

Debuting... our precious little sheep! (At our church's trunk-or-treat)  Joseph, Mary, and little sheep.  Distracted Joseph and stylin' Mary!  My sweet characters!  Nellie was having quite the time as all the kids were petting her all over.  She was loving it and it was so sweet to see how awesome and patient she was with them!  Mama and Nellie sheep.  We went by to see Mama Ruth and Grandpa Mike (Hehe, My parents) so they could see us all dressed up!  My little family!  Words just can't tell how much I love them!   Did I mention I made Nellie's costume?  I was over-the-moon excited with how it turned out.  Another teacher at my school even had me make her one for their dog!  I was pretty happy!  Nellie looks pretty excited as well I suppose. ; )

Weekly Wrap Up (Oct. 21-27)

On Sunday we got to go to church together for the first time in a while!  It was wonderful, even if we were a couple minutes late to sunday school!  Then we had lunch at Mama Joyce's and relaxed at home until it was time to celebrate Zach's dad's birthday.  We had bbq chicken and ice cream pie to celebrate his big day.  Zach's mom got him a cross bow and we got him some broadheads and other equipment for it.  I think he had a good birthday! On Monday Zach had school and had to take a test after his normal classes! We did eat breakfast together though and after he left I got to cleaning!  I spent almost 2 hours getting Nellie's fur out of our carpet!  I love her, but I do not love how much she sheds!  Then I spend the rest of the day with 6 loads of laundry, changing the sheets, putting away laundry, cleaning the floors of our bedroom, and going through our drawers.  I also tried my best to change out our summer clothes to fall clothes.  I have 3 trash bags full of

Early October...in pictures

Nellie was being me for Halloween! ; )   I tried to get a nice fall-ish looking picture of Nellie with my pumpkins and gourds.  She didn't really cooperate, but it still makes me smile!   The heart on the back of the pumpkin was way easier than the front! My pumpkin, which was a tremendous pain.  The little tool kit with thin saws I bought all broke, so it was definitely not easy.  My initials took a long while!   Daddy's Girl. Nellie got a new bed!  When she was little she just tore them up, but she actually seems to like it!  We don't put it in her kennel with her at night, but she likes to lay in it in the evening.  So sweet.
