Zach and Nathana

1. This week on Tuesday Elizabeth an I got to go to Cheddar's! The best part was we didn't have to wait because we went so early! 2. I have been sewing a skirt and the last step was to shir the skirt so it would cinch up and be elastic-y. It sounds all well and good until it didn't work! I realized I needed a bigger needle for my machine, so yet another trip to Jo-Anns was needed. Then I got home and I still couldn't get it to work just right. Ugh, I need some help! 3. Poor Zach had to work or be in class every single night this week, which has sucked, since we haven't gotten to see each other much at all. I missed him so much, but thankfully his schedule is better for next week! 4. This week has been so slow! It goes that way sometimes with 4 day weeks, so I am ready for the weekend. 5. 1. I spent a lot of time throughout the week making and getting things for Kayleigh's baby shower on the 14th. 2. I also covered for a 1st grade class while the teachers did DIBELS. It was a fun time had by all! They make you feel like a celebrity when they don't see you all day and then suddenly see you! Gotta love 'em! 3. I have been vigilant with my exercise for a couple weeks and have been counting calories and have lost 2 lbs since the beginning of January, which is 8 lbs overall! Yay! 4. I caught a cleaning "bug" and was a whirlwind during the week! Too bad it doesn't hit me too often! Ha! 5. Zach's promise of a ceiling fan and light for Valentine's day last year came true last weekend! We spent a fairly frustrating day putting it in! 1. Last Friday Elizabeth came over and we made spinach manicotti and apple cream cheese bundt cake. The cake I dropped bringing it out of the oven. Words couldn't express how angry I was! Ugh. At least our manicotti was delicious! 2. Saturday was New Year's Eve and we spent the day kind of lazily. I can't even remember what we did in the early in the day. That evening we went to Zach's parents' house to celebrate. We ate lots of yummy food and played Catch Phrase. I was so ready for bed at 10:00, but we made it until midnight, got our kisses in, and headed home. We were so exhausted we laid straight down in bed, and then naturally took forever to be able to sleep. 3. Sunday Zach had to work so I went to church and ate afterward at Mama Joyce's.
