4 years

For our 4th anniversary we went to Little Italy to celebrate. We didn't exchange gifts because we both agreed that our Nellie girl alive and well was the best gift we could have!  This past year has been one that I have mixed feelings about. There are honestly many times that I would give anything to forget, but thankfully the good outweighed the bad.  Still, I am so glad to see this year over and start a new one.   I've run into people I went to school with who find out I'm married and seem so surprised it's been 4 years, and sometimes it even surprised me it's been that long. Sometimes it feels like much longer. ; )  It's even a little hard to remember what life was like before we were married. I know that I love us, though.  God has been faithful to us these 4 years and I know will contribute to bless us.  I say it every year, but I love Zach more now than I ever have!  Thank you sweetheart for loving me when I am unlovable, cranky, and stubborn. Yo...

3 years

Amidst Zach's recovery from surgery, we slipped our 3rd anniversary in there.  It dawned on me that we probably wouldn't get to celebrate our anniversary as we would like to because of Zach being "down and out."  A second later it dawned on me that I didn't care one bit .  I cared that I would have my husband to celebrate with.  He would be in one whole piece with me, well (ish), and happy... and that is truly all that I could ask for.  I think part of the reason we may have gone through all of this was to give me an even deeper appreciation for my husband. He is such a strong man.  The things he's had done to him in the past few weeks would've killed me. He is so witty and funny. I've said it once, and I'll say it again.  He can always make me laugh, even when I don't want to... and for that, I love him even more. He is a hard worker. He loves me (and all my imperfections.) He is a wonderful and sweet Daddy to Nellie girl.  (...

3 months

Today Zach and I have been married for 3 months! That's 1/4 of a year! It doesn't seem like it has been that long at all. Like many people told us, it is a BIG adjustment! Here we are at a wedding that was at church last night! Not the best picture ever, but Mama was having trouble with my camera. Here is Zach at his family reunion two weekends ago! As you can see, he had a relaxing time! : ) That's it for now! More pictures from different things later!
