Happy Belated New Year!

Aubrie, Zach's niece hanging out in her Christmas PJ's! Well, I am just horrible at keeping up our little blog!! So now I'm saying happy new year on the 28th! At least I got it in there before February! : ) So, you may ask, "What on earth are Nathana and Zach up to these days?" It's your lucky day, because I'm going to fill you in on the things I can think of! First, there was Christmas '09. It may sound cliche, but it really WAS my best Christmas thus far! Seeing all of my family and friends has become even more important me and I just can't get enough of all of them! I just realized that I took like 10 pictures at Christmas this year and that is awful! I can't believe I did such a poor job. I'm going to definitely do better next year! Here is Norah Kate playing with her daddy, David, at Mama Joyce's! She is going to be a little bookworm, I think! : ) Suzanne with the presents I got her! Zach and I's third Ch...

Christmas Time Is Here Again

Our Second Christmas Our First Christmas Bells are ringing, and children (well, usually me actually) are singing, soon it will be Christmas Day! 11 days to be exact! Wow, it seems like last year's Christmas was just here! In good old Kentucky/ not so great Indiana, Nathana is enduring the very stressful week of finals. She did get her Literature Focus Unit done and turned in today, so that's like the weight of the world off of her shoulders. Only 3 more finals to go and she's FREE! Looking forward to a nice 3 week or so break! She will still have to work, but the daycare's numbers will be so low during the next two weeks, she won't have to work every single day. Zach is still at Mickey D's and has found out that he may not be going to the lineman class until February OR APRIL! It is getting frustrating because they keep telling him a date and keep pushing it back. The lady in charge is about to get a call from a stressed bride demanding her future ...

What I'm Thankful For...

Hey y'all. It's just Nathana in this post. I figured since I've been alive 20 years, that equals 20 Thanksgivings, so I'm gonna have the 20 things I'm most Thankful for. Here goes nothing! : ) 1. The first thing of course I am thankful for is my salvation through Jesus Christ! Without him I have no hope to be anything! 2. My mom and dad, and the home they raised me in. I could not imagine any parents better than mine, and I'm proud to be their daughter. I'm also thankful they didn't give me away to a farm when I was difficult! 3. My brother and sister. No one else knows all of the trouble we've been in and fun we've had over the years and even though we don't always see eye to eye, I wouldn't trade them for any other siblings. 4. Zachary Scheller. God has blessed me with an even better future husband than I could have ever asked for. My love and respect for him grows each day, and I will be so thankful this June when I can ca...

Engagement Pictures Are In!

These pictures uploaded out of order, but I guess that doesn't really matter. We had our pictures taken on November 8 after church on Sunday. We went to a park in Newburgh for most of the pictures and the pictures with us against the brick were taken at our photographer's house. We're currently trying to pick which one should go in the paper for the engagement announcement, so if anyone has input, we'd love to hear it! Laying on a picnic table. I think this one is a fun picture! Pretending to propose. Practicing for our first kiss as man and wife. Another good one! Piggybacking me through the park. He makes it look so easy, huh? The sweetest man I know. Definitely a candidate for the newspaper if the right side is cropped off. I really love the beautiful yellow tree with our black shirts! I think this would be a good one to have hanging up in our home. Maybe my most favorite. I also think this would be a good one to have bigger and hanging on the wall. Look at those...

Engagement Pictures

Well folks, we did it! We finally got our engagement pictures taken, only 8 1/2 months after our engagement! : ) haha, but better late than never, right? This is a slide show made by our photographer, Becky Hughes, who did a simply amazing job! I get the CD with all of the pictures on them on Wednesday, and will try to post some of my favorites! (Which will be hard, considering I like so many of them.)

9 months to go!

Not that anybody else is counting, but today is exactly 9 months till Zach and Nathana are husband and wife! Which seems a little crazy since the only things that we have done are: ~Most of the guest lists, simply a list and rough numbers. Not even the addresses yet! ~Booked the church for that weekend. ~Planned the catering for the rehearsal dinner. ~Bought a guest book. Random, I know, but I figure if you spend just a little over time is won't seem as bad as spending a lot in one big chunk! : ) So, even though it is still a little while a way, I am nervous because it seems like just yesterday we got engaged and that was 7 months ago! My next biggest goal is to find me a wedding dress and Zach's goal is to avoid as much wedding planning as possible! We are both really excited about getting to go register at stores and we plan to do that around January or so. For so long I have been saying I'm going to upload new pictures, but there is one minor problem. I lost the cab...
