Last First Day!

Today is my LAST first day of school! (College anyway) I seriously cannot believe I have been through three full years of school and have only 2 semesters left! I have 18 credit hours this semester and then I student teach in January! WOW! People have said that it goes by quickly, but I had no idea it would go by this fast!
I also only have class three days a week, which partially makes up for the fact I have TWO night classes. I am so not excited for these, but it was the only time they were offered, and I do have to have them, so... I didn't really have a choice. I also have an online class, so that should be fun as well because it is sign language. My dad laughed and said, "How are you going to learn sign language on the internet?"
Anyway, I am just ready to get this semester rolling even though my classes don't start until 4:00 p.m. today. (Which is kind of depressing since I'll be in class until 9:00!) Alright, I'll stop my whining and look forward to my day off on Wednesday! : )
Maybe if I'm nice to him, Zach will take a picture of me on my first day for me to post later! : )

Family room re-do featuring.... my curtains! : )

For a while now, we've planned on finally finishing our family room.  That's right, it's kind of been unfinished for the entire time we've lived there.  It was painted and decorated, just no molding and the ceiling was hideous because we (and by we, I mean Zach) took down the drop ceiling the previous owners had put up.  So, anyway, I looked at curtains and didn't really find anything I liked, so I decided I was going to make my own.  Zach and I looked at Jo-Ann's a couple times and each time we looked I liked this fabric more and more.  It was the most expensive fabric I've ever bought, but in the end, it was sooooo worth it! (*Note- I bought the fabric in January before NSM! : )) Here we are at Mama Joyce's one day after church cutting the panels.  I think we were all nervous to cut it.  It was too costly to mess up! Turns out...

Third grade is not bad at all! The kids are still pretty sweet and are so excited for me to be there and I am excited too! I think it will be fun to see all that they can do and have fun with them. Yesterday I received 5 notes on my desk about how excited that I was there and about how much fun we were going to have. I think they are right! Hopefully I get the hang of them quickly, because I start teaching Science (Mon and Wed), Social Studies(Tues and Thur), and PE (Fri) next week!

Bumpdate: 41 weeks!

How Far along: 41 weeks.   Baby's size: Size of a jack fruit!  Around 7.5 lbs. (I think he's going to be about 8 lbs and Zach's official guess is 9 lbs. 2 oz.  I hope he's wrong!) Weight loss/gain: 30 lbs. (So glad the weight gain is slowing down!) Sleep: I told Zach I no longer am even trying to keep track of how much I am getting up to go to the bathroom. Gender: B-O-Y Movement:  He has been back to his super active little self this week.  Best Moment of this week:  Getting to spend time at home together now that we're finished with the old house.  Also, the 3 day weekend!  We didn't sleep in, much, but we figure that's all about to end anyway! Looking Forward: Getting to meet our baby boy.  I think it will be a little weird, because I truly don't feel like I'm finished being pregnant yet.  But, alas, we pretty much have to follow Dr.'s orders.
