So much to do, so little time!

Today I got to go shopping with Mama, Mama Joyce, and Suzanne! (Amid 3 finals!!!) I feel like I didn't get a whole lot, but we only have two more people to buy for!! So I must have done pretty well after all!

I cannot wait until Christmas. I really want it to be special this year since it is our first Christmas married. I know that it's time to start the traditions that we will keep for the rest of our lives and pass on to our children some day. Which also makes me really excited! One thing I am looking forward to is Christmas morning! We are going to use our new China for breakfast! Okay, I want to share more traditions I am looking forward to, but I think I'm going to wait until I can think clearly enough to make a list! (Since my brain is just a little fried from school! ; ) )

I am one stinking reflection paper for math short of being done with my 7th semester of college! Yay! I can't I've been in college for 3 1/2 years! But as they say, time flies!!

Hope everybody is getting ready to hang their stockings with care for St. Nick! (We still don't have any for us at our own house! Oops!) It's on my list for this weekend!

Family room re-do featuring.... my curtains! : )

For a while now, we've planned on finally finishing our family room. That's right, it's kind of been unfinished for the entire time we've lived there. It was painted and decorated, just no molding and the ceiling was hideous because we (and by we, I mean Zach) took down the drop ceiling the previous owners had put up. So, anyway, I looked at curtains and didn't really find anything I liked, so I decided I was going to make my own. Zach and I looked at Jo-Ann's a couple times and each time we looked I liked this fabric more and more. It was the most expensive fabric I've ever bought, but in the end, it was sooooo worth it! (*Note- I bought the fabric in January before NSM! : )) Here we are at Mama Joyce's one day after church cutting the panels. I think we were all nervous to cut it. It was too costly to mess up! Fast forward a couple weeks because I didn't have time, was lazy, and also scared to sew on it, and I finally just delved in an...

Turns out...

Third grade is not bad at all! The kids are still pretty sweet and are so excited for me to be there and I am excited too! I think it will be fun to see all that they can do and have fun with them. Yesterday I received 5 notes on my desk about how excited that I was there and about how much fun we were going to have. I think they are right! Hopefully I get the hang of them quickly, because I start teaching Science (Mon and Wed), Social Studies(Tues and Thur), and PE (Fri) next week!

Bumpdate: 41 weeks!

How Far along: 41 weeks. Baby's size: Size of a jack fruit! Around 7.5 lbs. (I think he's going to be about 8 lbs and Zach's official guess is 9 lbs. 2 oz. I hope he's wrong!) Weight loss/gain: 30 lbs. (So glad the weight gain is slowing down!) Sleep: I told Zach I no longer am even trying to keep track of how much I am getting up to go to the bathroom. Gender: B-O-Y Movement: He has been back to his super active little self this week. Best Moment of this week: Getting to spend time at home together now that we're finished with the old house. Also, the 3 day weekend! We didn't sleep in, much, but we figure that's all about to end anyway! Looking Forward: Getting to meet our baby boy. I think it will be a little weird, because I truly don't feel like I'm finished being pregnant yet. But, alas, we pretty much have to follow Dr.'s orders. Food cravings: Still pineapple! ...
