Bumpdate: Week 10


How Far along: 10 weeks

Baby's size: Prune or a tart kumquat (whatever that is!)

Weight loss/gain: Staying the same. Can't complain!

Sleep: Still (almost) nightly pee trips. 

Gender: Don't know! 

Movement: Ask me again in 8-10 weeks!

Best Moment of this week: Getting to rest

Looking Forward to: Our ultrasound only being 4 days away!

Food cravings:  If anything, Chick-fil-a!  I think we have a little chicken fan and that makes my heart happy!

Weirdest Food I ate last week: Nothing really.  Still feel like I eat all. day. long.

Anything making you feel sick or queasy: Morning/Noon/Night sickness is still hanging around which is comforting to me (go ahead and call me crazy) because I figure that has to mean things are happening in me!

Symptoms: Almost more tired than sicky these days.  I can fall asleep at 8:00 p.m. on the couch, Zach will wake me up to move to bed, and then fall right back asleep!

Workouts: None.  I am so not proud of this. : ( 

What I miss:  Not a thing.

Things that stink: Being made to join a union when no one ever told me that it was a possibility.   I told Zach I unleashed every hormone that's been inside me the last 10 weeks.  I was a hot. mess.

Things that don't stink:Knowing we get to see baby Monday!

Mama's Thoughts: I hate to rush time, but I just want our u/s to get here and see that everything is perfect and to finish out the 1st trimester so we can share our joy with the rest of our friends/family/ random people I meet on the street! Hehe-  These are still my feelings this week!

Daddy's Thoughts: He hasn't said much, but is really excited for our ultrasound!

Family room re-do featuring.... my curtains! : )

For a while now, we've planned on finally finishing our family room.  That's right, it's kind of been unfinished for the entire time we've lived there.  It was painted and decorated, just no molding and the ceiling was hideous because we (and by we, I mean Zach) took down the drop ceiling the previous owners had put up.  So, anyway, I looked at curtains and didn't really find anything I liked, so I decided I was going to make my own.  Zach and I looked at Jo-Ann's a couple times and each time we looked I liked this fabric more and more.  It was the most expensive fabric I've ever bought, but in the end, it was sooooo worth it! (*Note- I bought the fabric in January before NSM! : )) Here we are at Mama Joyce's one day after church cutting the panels.  I think we were all nervous to cut it.  It was too costly to mess up! Bumpdate: 41 weeks!

How Far along: 41 weeks.   Baby's size: Size of a jack fruit!  Around 7.5 lbs. (I think he's going to be about 8 lbs and Zach's official guess is 9 lbs. 2 oz.  I hope he's wrong!) Weight loss/gain: 30 lbs. (So glad the weight gain is slowing down!) Sleep: I told Zach I no longer am even trying to keep track of how much I am getting up to go to the bathroom. Gender: B-O-Y Movement:  He has been back to his super active little self this week.  Best Moment of this week:  Getting to spend time at home together now that we're finished with the old house.  Also, the 3 day weekend!  We didn't sleep in, much, but we figure that's all about to end anyway! Looking Forward: Getting to meet our baby boy.  I think it will be a little weird, because I truly don't feel like I'm finished being pregnant yet.  But, alas, we pretty much have to follow Dr.'s orders. Valentine's Weekend

Zach and I seemed to stretch out Valentine's day for the whole weekend! On Friday night we had pizza ordered in (pineapple and mushroom, my FAVORITE, Thanks honey!) Then on Saturday, Zach took me to downtown Henderson to Memories, a little antique shop, and bought me a McGuffey reader to add to my collection! After that, we went to Bed, Bath, and Beyond in Evansville and Zach bought me a back massage machine that goes in the chair! It does shiatsu massage and feel wonderful! He jokes that now he won't ever have to give me massages anymore, but that's not true! Then we went back to his house, and he opened his present from me, a balance thing that measures reloading stuff for guns! As you can guess, I don't exactly know what it is, I just said, "Pick something out unless you want some new polos." Motivates him every time!
