10 Day You Challenge

Day 2, so it is time for my nine loves.

Jesus, after all, he is the definition of love itself!

2. My Mama, Daddy, sister, brother, and rest of my family.

3. Zachary Taft Scheller. I love him to the moon and back. He's my other half and he completes me!

4. Nellie-Girl Scheller. Be still, my heart. This little puppy holds the strings to my heart and bless me, I am just her silly little puppet. I never dreamt we would have fallen so in love with her. I even love her rottenness and strong will. Heaven help me when we have kids, because Nellie loves being our one and only!

5. Chick-fil-a. God gave Truett Cathy the finesse and skill to invent the chicken sandwich and God gave me the skill to eat them. I am also enjoying the Chick-fil-a being on my way home from school! Bad for my wallet, but oh so yummy! (Don't worry, I eat the healthy stuff on occasion!)

6. Being a wife. May sound like I'm talking about Zach again, but I promise I'm going a different direction here! All my life I dreamed about the cookie cutter life. I can't say ours fits that mold, but then again, why should it? I love trying my best to be the wife to Zach that God created to be. I love being able to support him and love him despite our imperfections.

7. Being a teacher. Somedays I actually think it is ridiculous that I get paid for hanging out with kids and teaching them. A lot of the time it doesn't feel so much like work as just what I should be doing. And I think that's a pretty great thing.

8. Fresh cherries. They are so yummy and just fun to eat.

9. Friend/family time. They are the most important people in my life, so to spend time growing even closer to them is a delight.

Valentine's Day and the Quickest Weekend Ever

Valentine's morning I treated myself to a heart-shaped chicken biscuit from Chick-fil-a. They were BOGO free AND I got a survey for a free chicken sandwich. That in and of itself made my day! : ) Friday evening Zach and I tried to go out for Valentine's Day. We thought we were early enough to beat the rush, but it turned out we weren't. Christmas Eve

Our Christmas festivities started with Zach's family on Christmas Eve! We opened presents and ate! I'll let the pictures do most of the talking! As you can see, Christmas is so more magical when there are little ones to spoil! : ) Mrs. Claus house shoes from Nana and Poppy! Mmmmm, paper! We got Zach's dad a long magnet on wheels. We hope he liked it!! Haha, it was one of those gifts that was more of a necessity I think! She was excited! We are glad she liked it! We got Zach's mom a record player that is a 5-in-1 system! Third grade is not bad at all! The kids are still pretty sweet and are so excited for me to be there and I am excited too! I think it will be fun to see all that they can do and have fun with them. Yesterday I received 5 notes on my desk about how excited that I was there and about how much fun we were going to have. I think they are right! Hopefully I get the hang of them quickly, because I start teaching Science (Mon and Wed), Social Studies(Tues and Thur), and PE (Fri) next week!
